I WILL be losing my lockdown stone, starting today! Anyone join me?

That's it. I have put on an extra lockdown stone. I want to get rid of the lockdown stone. I am going to do it, starting today. I am sick of it and my overeating!

Yesterday I snacked all day on rubbish, and then had a massive takeaway pizza for dinner. I feel bloated this morning. I'm 11s 1lb today.

It's been done a million times before here, but anyone want to shift a stone with me? Smile

Me! I went slightly lazy on my Keto diet, letting some non Keto stuff slip in.

Back on strict Keto from today!

Me - I don’t have any scales but could definitely do with shifting at least half a stone. My diet is not too bad but I need to drink less wine and Starbucks coffee and prioritise exercise. I will be going for a run shortly to start being in a healthy mindset 😇

Great to have company! Smile

I couldn't manage without scales, I'd happily fool myself that I'm a lot less than I am without them. Grin

Longpause I've not done Keto myself I'll have to look into that!
Fauxfox run is a great start to the day!

I have 10lbs of baby weight plus an extra stone of too much cake to lose so count me in! I'm wearing my Fitbit every day to try and monitor my activity levels and I'm trying to limit the treats. I desperately need to get more exercise but having two under three makes it super hard to find the time!

I need to do the same ! Heeeeeeelp!

Yes. Me too! Although I suspect its much more than a stone (bathroom scales batteries have died and I daren't replace them)!
I'm going to start the fast 800 today, using Huel to keep track. Hoping to do 7-14 days and then go back to IF which has worked well for me in the past. Good luck!

@DandelionRose I love it. I lost 8 stone with it and have kept off for 4 years now but I need to stay really low carb to do that. My body is just so intolerant of carbs Confused

I had a stone to lose in March and so far I’ve lost 7lbs. It can be really hard going though, but I’m trying to just stick with 2 main meals and a slimming milkshake, no snacks at all or wine! I’ve done well but had a few glasses this past week, now back on it for the coming week

Im in! My baby is 10 months old and I weigh more now than I did when he was a month old! I have 2 stone to lose but 1 would be a bloody good start, my struggle is the biscuits tin at work and the fact I'm stuck in an office 9-5 Monday to Friday. Need some motivation.

Me I'm in. I need to lose a stone at least. I've just bought the meal prep king book and I'm going to follow that.

OMG...Meeeee. I've put on just over a stone in he last year and have no idea where to start with losing it. I've never dieted in my life and don't know a thing about calorie counting. Only exercise I've done in the past 14 months is in the kitchen cooking...Grin

And me. Although I'll start tomorrow as we've got a pub lunch booking for today - but I'll be be good on Monday, promise!

Still deciding on the best approach. I swim a couple of times a week, but that's never helped with weightloss. Probably just good old calorie counting, although I am contemplating paying for WW or Noom (never tried either) as I suspect paying for something may help me stick to it.

Yes! I went back to the gym yesterday and had my body fat etc measured. I'm just a big ball of flub. By that I mean my muscle mass is dire so although I look slim ish (am tall so I carry it off) what there is of me is just dough!
My metabolic age is 55. I'm not even 50 yet Sad.
My BMR is estimated at 1350 which explains why my argument of 'but I don't eat that much is true!! If I only ate 1500 calories without exercise I'd still gain!
So my plan is to up my cardio and start weights. I hope not to have to alter my diet too much. Its fairly healthy. Just too much on so little output. I was so fit before lockdown and I did not lift a finger in the second one. I'm totally to blame.

If it helps when I had my gym induction yesterday the PT said weights is where its at! Muscle burns more calories than fat. He said people make the mistake of just doing cardio. You need to mix it up really Smile.

ME, I need to move more too. Working at home has just made me lose my motivation. My gym classes will be starting again soon and I'm a bit embarrassed about how much bigger I will look when I go but going back will help me lose the weight. I just don't know if I will be able to manage a full class, could take a while to get back into it lol

I too have acquired a lockdown stone (and a little bit) that I really need to shift. I’m only short at 5ft2 and it all tends to sit on my stomach and thighs so I can’t carry it off at all. I’m 42 this year and my metabolism is definitely going go on the blink!!

I exercise a reasonable amount with swimming, running and the odd body pump class, my problem is quite simply eating and drinking too much. I am tired of feeling podgy and sluggish and I’d like to head into summer feeling better about myself!!

This month is going to be a bit stressful as I have to reapply for my job and not feeling that confident I’ll get it so that’s not going to help either. But better to be slim with no job than fat I guess Grin

My method is simply to eat a bit less and stop snacking! Will have to see if that’s enough though...

I'm in ! I was going to start tomorrow and do 5 days of calorie counting ( then evaluate), no wine and a more positive attitude, but was thinking why not today ? So, porridge for breakfast, chicken lunch, then soup later if I'm hungry.
I was 12st before this last year. Weighed self , 13st 3. I think I can get a stone off. I can do it when I put my mind to it.
I'm a rarity in that I like what I see in the mirror. But I hate how I feel.
Good luck everyone; we can do it.

I'm in.
I lost the stone in the first lockdown, but put it all back on in this last one, even though I could see it going on pound by pound and should have acted to reverse the trend.
I think I am going back to No S, which has worked for me before, and will still allow me to have cake in people's gardens at the weekend!

I'm in!
I have the same 10 lbs to loose, that I have lost and gained more times than I can remember...
Was planning to restart tomorrow, so it will be really good to have some accountability. Am thinking low carb, poss 16:8(I work a lot of nightshifts, which is the root of the problem!) and MFP.

I have been for a run and done a 10min abs workout off an app I downloaded.

I am going to make a vat of soup for this weeks lunches later and a tray of semi healthy flapjacks which should help me stay on track Smile

Yay so many of us! Hopefully we can shift this lockdown stone. I can't wait to wear my other clothes again (the stone-lighter ones) Smile

Going to start with lots of water today and no snacking.

Me. I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been when not pregnant. Awful! Started a strict regime last week and have not lost a single pound. I feel gloomy! So new week, new start.

I’m planning low carb, but not no carb because I exercise lots, and keeping kcals to around 1500. I’m a healthy BMI already but at the very top of it.

I've just started another 30 days of yoga challenge, last time I did one I dropped 9lbs in the month and slept so well too. Today I've hit 6k steps and 1300 cals.

Starting at 11st 8lbs.
Target overall is under 10st.
