Lower tummy fat

Hello. Does anyone have any tips for getting rid of lower tummy fat? I'm doing Joe Wicks and calorie counting and my weight is coming down, but the lower tummy fat is still so obvious. I would like to lose another stone, having lost half a stone already. Thank you.

Well done on your weight loss so far.
I’m a typical Apple shape and I only finally lost mine once I got to the low end of my BMI range.

You can't spot target fat (annoyingly!). I basically have to have a BMI of under 20 to be slim round the belly. Just keep going, the tummy fat will go but if you're anything like me it'll be last!

Ah thanks! Its frustrating as I don't think I look any slimmer even with losing the weight I have. I feel fitter though.
I know it varies but how long was it before you starter losing the lower tummy fat?

What can help a little is doing (more) weight exercises targeting your abdominals and core. It won’t get rid of the fat but tighten up the muscles underneath. Something like Gillian Michaels 30 day shred if you’re looking for something to do at home. It’s quite motivating as you can feel and see the results quite quickly.

I need to get my weight pretty low to get rid of that tummy fat . My tummy has always had extra fat on it. A while back ( like 10 years ago ) I tried to get it as flat as possible and the only way possible was to get my bmi to the lower end of healthy and I didn’t like how skinny my face and arms looked. 5 kilo heavier than that is what looks best on me . Although after 2 kids , I’m much heavier than that currently 😩
