It's a bit late but here's your poem -

Week forty-one
And we'll watch what we eat.
If we hide what we scoff
It's just us that we cheat.

So let's all be honest,
'Bout what goes in our gobs,
And soon we'll be slim, trim and gorgeous
Not slobs!!!!

Have a good week everyone!

I like the pome, MIAM, though if I were honest about everything that I ate it would be a very long post indeed.

I threw my broken scales in the bin so couldn't join in this week's weigh-in. I can hope that by the time I get new scales I'll have miraculously shed a few pounds

Got new scales. weighed 11lb more on them than on old scales last week. that's cancelled out all the weight I lost over the last 3 months.
A tad demoralising to say the least. even if I am bloated with my period and weighed in just after a big meal and fully clothed.

luckily they also weighed DP high, so they are going straight back to the shop!

yorkiegirl - if weight loss rate slowed down I would up the exercise level ie more swimming or aerobics. I realise that's perhaps not possible with 2 small childreb however.

got some more expensive new scales. according to these I have lost 2lb in the last 2 weeks (since old scales died). I love my new scales . think they are right as I've been losin a pound a week for 3 months. so am back in the club -if I can work out how to post to yorkiegirl.

Ola!

DH checking his mails in an internet cafe just now so I am making the most of the 5 mins he has left!!!

No idea what I weigh but the skirt I have on today seems a bit tight, I´m hoping I´m just having trouble digesting the food out here, too much chorizo!!!

Have had quite a good week (3lbs down, which is the best for ages), but will no doubt pay for it next week as have somehow achieved that despite eating out 3 times this week. Perhaps it's payback for resisting the temptation of that buttered toasted crumpet?

Quite pleased to finally get this half stone cracked though, as it's taken 6 weeks, which seems like forever compared to a stone every 5 weeks before that.

Have given up hope now of actually getting to where I want to be by Christmas (only 10 weeks to go - help), but if all those pre-Christmas functions don't take too much of a toll, then at least I should be able to look for some new things in the sales after Christmas (am hoping that dh might come up with shopping trip, and permission to actually spend some money without too many recriminations as a Christmas present).

Hope your holiday doesn't inflict too much "damage" Demented.
