Hi, I'm on the same, I weigh 15.9 and need to lose a lot to get healthy. I only started on it yesterday. How are you finding it? How much do you want to lose?

Finding it ok. Just ate my first really fatty meal though, bit scared of the consequences! You actually see the fat come out undigested in the toilet, pretty disgusting. Keep bleach near by!
In a dream world I'd love to lost 3stone, 2 stone would be great though.

Oh dear am experiencing the side effects. Don't want these to last for long otherwise I'll stop taking them, can't be having that all the time. Does it settle after a while, have you taken them before?

It's my first time taking them so I'm not sure.
My advice is - don't have a Chinese takeaway for dinner Sad

@Imjustme2019 how are you getting on today. Going to weigh tomorrow. I look quite bloated though so not holding out much hope for anymore weight loss.

I used a similar medication years ago and the side effects were grim! To the point that oil could just seep out!!! It certainly made me aware though of what was a higher in fat meal and to be avoided!

@Elouera did you lose much weight on it?

@tryingtoloseweightnow- No, I dont recall using much weight. I found the side effects awful and I had to wear a sanitary pad incase I passed wind, which was often an oily mess!!! (sorry if TMI!). I've since been on a keto/low carb diet and lost 10kg in 3mths. I still eat normal food and its much more pleasurable, without the side effects!
The alli might be good to learn what is high fat, but there are so many things saying that its no longer the fat that is the issue, and looking at sugar and carb intake is far more important. Best of luck and I hope it works for you though.

I read about these pills years ago when I was considering them but decided against as I really don't want to shit myself.

I've lost 2.5 stone in 6 months following slimming world, 16.1 starting weight, now 13.7. Still a bit to lose.

Why are you doing this to yourself?? Surely a balanced diet is the healthier, more sustainable option. A quick fix doesn’t last and doesn’t get you to change your food habits to allow long term change. Your poor body Sad

Well done @Invisimamma

I used similar years ago and to be fair it kept me on track eating low fat as I didn't want the consequences. I only ever had one bad experience after eating a cooked breakfast in a hotel. It was grim but not too bad.

I tried it years ago. Although it worked well the side effects were awful.

I am currently taking the 'skinny jab'. I have been impressed. In 3 weeks I lost 10 lbs. you just don't feel hungry at all. It reduces your blood sugar and regulates your hormones.

@tryingtoloseweightnow I stopped talking them this morning. I had an awful night on them with the horrible side effects. I'm travelling across the county for work and can't really be putting my body through that, if someone could tell me it goes after 2 days it'd not be too bad but it's almost stopping you from moving as you're scared in case of an accident. I'm just going to stick with calorie counting for now and see how that goes alongside exercise classes and gym time. I live and learn. How are you doing today on them?
@uggmum not heard of that is that through a doctor?

@Imjustme2019 i haven't been too awful except when I ate a fatty dinner. Apparently if you take a fibre supplement with them it can help.
12st9lbs today so 3lbs down since last week.

Imjustme2019 I initially purchased it from 'skinny Jab' online. I had a telephone consultation and completed a health questionnaire. This was referred to a doctor and then prescribed.

Once I had taken it for a few weeks I found an online pharmacy that was much cheaper.

I heard about it on a television documentary. It is licensed for use in the uk

It is called Saxenda

I'm a week into using saxenda. I'm fasting for up to 20 hours per day and have lost 4lb and 2 inches from waist and hips so far.

I'm not hungry, it hasn't affected my energy levels and I can still eat keto type food without feeling like I'm going to have an accident!

I bought it from pharmacy 2u for about £75 per pen. Had an online consultation and after a few follow up questions they prescribed it.

Weighed again this morning. Another 1lb off.
So that's 4lbs in 8 days Smile
I'd assume most of it is to do with the fact I've restricted my diet and I'm more active. The fact that the consequences of eating a fatty meal aren't pleasant are what's keeping me in line though as I'm not very disciplined usually.

12st8lbs today
