Stop a binge before it happens

I'm a terrible evening eater. I can be as healthy as during the day but come the night time I lose all my self control and eat and eat 😔 it's a compulsion and it's horrible.

So I'm just learning to recognise the signs and now I'm sat at work doing some deep breathing, relaxing and trying to be mindful and not impulsive.
That's all really just thought I'd share 🤣🤣🤣

Are you eating enough during the day or are you restricting too much?

For me the key to stopping binges is to eat decent amounts of food regularly so I don't get too hungry and just want to stuff anything fatty and sugary in my mouth.

Yeah maybe the key is more dinner. But I eat out of boredom so it's tricky 😕

I'm the same op, never used to be, I've put in nearly 4 stone in the past 3.5 years and it's mainly down to binge eating on an evening.

I gave up smoking 10 yrs ago, and the cravings I get for food are on par with the cravings I got when giving up smoking

Yes Reef! I can't stop thinking about what's in the fridge and the cupboard in much the same way that I used to think about cigarettes😕
