It’s been 3 months since I had my son and now I’ve got the great Christmas feasting out the way I’m looking to get stuck in on the losing weight front but clueless as to which route to take. I’ve downloaded a few exercise apps to do at home as the gym is not for me. My biggest problem is food I love to snack on crap but looking to cut down, make more healthier meals and possibly start meal replacement shakes. Would just like to hear from people who have managed to lose their baby weight and how you did it!
Thanks in advance

No fad diets
Simply walk 10k steps a day
drink only water
Eat more protein
Do simple exercise at home don't bore yourself or over do it
Eat less sugar
Limit yourself to one treat a day
Drink or take green tea tablets

I honestly wouldn't bother with shakes they end up making your more hungry and your much better getting the nutrients from actual food

I started intermittent fasting (16:8) at 4 months post-partum in October, and have lost 3.5kg on average since then.
My eating window is 9am to 5pm, I eat 3 normal meals and no snacking.
The first week was hard, but now I actually like it.

One of the best things is not to keep junk in the house! DH and I have biscuits in the house but only eat them together so we don’t go mad! If you’re having proper balanced meals, you shouldn’t really snacks more than a bit of fruit or a glass of milk etc

I also use intermittent fasting. I eat lunch and dinner. No snacks or desserts. I just find I'm not that hungry in the morning

Thanks for all your advice ladies. I think I’ll stick to the eating healthily, get of my arse and walk and stop my worst habit of snacking. Hopefully I can shift this 2 stone and stick with it... fingers crossed.

I was really lucky in the fact that I only put on 8lbs throughout my pregnancy. This was down to being so active and probably not eating as much as I should. Regardless of this I had a healthy 8lb 7oz baby.
I was 15 St 10lb when I had her and was amazed when I got on the scale 3 weeks after having her to discover I had gone down to 14st 1lb. A week later it was 13st 12lb. This was again was due to walking 4 miles doing the daily school run and not eating enough. My LO is 7 weeks old and since half term and Christmas pigging out I'm now 14st. I'm not bothered by this as I am enjoying the relaxation and having time to eat.
This is obviously not the way to do it and my advice would be eat healthy and be as active as you possibly can. It may take some time so be patient and most of all don't be defeated or hard on yourself if things don't go the way you want because afterall your body has just done the most wonderful thing and is recovering.
Congratulations on your little one

Walk everywhere with baby in the pram! I use to get out for a walk every day regardless of the weather because baby is always snug and dry in pram. I didn't keep biscuits or chocolates in house as would eat them mindlessly. Drink loads of water, eat 3 proper meals a day and exercise when you can. I use to go for a run when DH got home from work.
