New Nov thread. Bit late as I fell off the wagon last week!

I've graced myself back on though so the last two days have been on plan.

Also, did not lose weight overall in October but hey ho, life goes on.

Red thanks for the new thread and sorry you and quim have been left holding the fort recently. I have good intentions for this month but maybe not until after next weekend Blush.

I'm still limping along at 11 4 but would love to get under 11 before the inevitable Christmas gain. Otherwise I'm leaving myself a lot to do in January. If you don't hear from me before next week I will definitely be on it from Tuesday onwards.

Meanwhile keep on keeping on and think of me scoffing croissants and eclairs!

DAMN, MN ate my post! The salient points were:

  • I saw a 300g gain on Friday Angry I seem to have random blips every few weeks so hoping it resolves itself...
  • My loss for October was 1.8kg which I'm pretty pleased with.
  • Red this is your month, with all that batch cooking under your belt - final push before the festivities, we got this!
  • Kicky HAVE FUN! I do so envy your croissants and eclairs, enjoy every bite and then we'll all cheer those 5lbs off and you'll be sparklingly slim for Christmas.

Also I ate absolutely everything this weekend Blush Absolute chocolate and carb fest. I'll be relieved with a STS this week, even with Friday's gain...

Kick you can do it!

I could totally eat some croissants right now! I won't though, had my very virtuous fake Eaton mess for pudding so that will do.

Quim 1.8kg off lady month is a brilliant achievement, well done.

Day two back on the wagon for me today. Not many steps but Monday is my rest day so I'm not bothered by that. I'm going riding tomorrow and again on Wednesday and Zumba on Wednesday night. School runs and domestic duties on Thursday and then a run on Friday. Zumba again on Saturday morning and another run on Sunday.

I'm going to try to do a week without sweets too. I bloody love sweets so it'll be tough but worth it (I hope)!

Still not brace enough to step on the scales but I'm full of period bloat so I'll wait till that has gone.

Red woah, you're a man with a plan! I find it so much easier to know exactly what I'm doing for the week ahead and then power through, so I'm sure you'll see great results. A week without sweets will be a terrific win if you can manage it, it'll definitely make a difference. My coping strategy when I want something sweet is to have tea with vanilla soya milk, which is very sweet but low cal (and not something "extra" if that makes sense, just the same tea I'd already have been having but with a twist), and I always have Options hot chocolate on hand for real Sweet Stuff emergencies. You might prefer to go cold turkey though, sometimes placebos just keep the craving alive!

Pretty uneventful times Chez Quim - I was RAVENOUS yesterday, but after my huge weekend that was to be expected. Frittata for dinner tonight and hoping to get a bit of extra steppage in. I've fallen out of the habit of hooping, so should really get back on that too!

Just checking in. Not much dieting going on this weekend but I need to comeback with a positive attitude on Tuesday.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Hope you had / are having a glorious time in Paris Kick!

I had another gain on Friday Sad Am now up 600g on the month, and I really don't know why! One large latte and one really quite late dinner (due to circs outside of my control) were my only sins, except for a very heavy weekend of eating which I guess I didn't manage to combat Blush My steps were better than usual though, so I had been feeling all positive. I wonder what went wrong! Am determined to at least end the month as I started it, even if I won't be making any progress. Bah!

Quim weight loss is a bitch sometimes it really is.

I have eaten all the food this weekend but I'm not feeling guilty or bad about it. I've only gut half a stone to go and I'm going to cut myself some slack and just try to get it off by February I think. I've completely turned around how I eat and my exercise habits over the last two years so I'm gonna to focus on the positive of that and just keep going the same way. No pressure to lose and no guilt if I don't choose wisely once in a while.

Red it really is, isn't it. I can deal with one blippy weigh-in but two on the trot has freaked me out a bit! I need to remember that after treading water with my weight since literally last December (and really I was up and down since Spring last year) and only this summer have I managed to really get my head screwed on, and I've lost about 6kg since the end of June, so it's not the end of the world.

I am exactly like you with not giving myself a hard time, especially when you're in a really good place - that last half-stone is always such a bugger to shift, and when it is just vanity weight I don't think there's any urgency to get it done when it's freezing cold and life is getting in the way! You've done fantastically and must feel (and be!) so much healthier for overhauling your lifestyle, and that's so much more important.

Well, I've lost 400g of the 600 gain, but still not back to where I was at the start of the month even after an epic effort with well over 80K steps racked up and an accidental extra fast day. It's so frustrating! Grrr!

I'm beginning to wonder if I misread the scales at the end of last month!

I've been back on track this week too. Lots of early nights to avoid snacking!

Git my first Xmas do tomorrow so all my good work will go out the window but tbh, I just can't wait to go out and get really drunk with my friends!

Hi all. Great to see the thread creeping back to life. I am having a brief pre-christmas golden period.

On Monday the scales showed a horrifying 11 st 11 which is my joint highest ever weight. I last weighed that in September 2017 when I joined this thread. Hopefully it was a blip or faulty scales because I was back at 11 8 by Wednesday. Still a good 7lb above where I'd like to be though. I've been mostly golden this week and hoping to lose 3-4lb before the inevitable Christmas gain. I can't afford to gain anything on top of where I am now.

I think we need an active December thread.

Yay Ello looking forward to starting again after a far too long break and a huge weight gain. Instead of berating myself and feeling sorry or angry at the damage I’ve done I am going to keep on keeping on 😉

I couldn’t find a December thread, was there one? Definitely must have a January one, I really need it.
