Anyone else failing at OurPath? God I’ve tried every diet going and this one is not a diet but “retrains” the way you look at food. But it’s not working. One weekend away...5 pounds back on and back to square one for me....I can’t motivate myself to start again. Anyone successful with this diet? Is it very slow? How to keep motivated?!

Hello, I loved Our Path and lost almost 2 stone quite quickly then gave up when I got pregnant and now trying and failing to get back on the wagon.

I found the food really filling and at the time, enjoyed cooking from scratch and having some extra head space because I wasn’t always thinking about what I was going to eat. Think it came down to no sugar, low carb.

It’s still going to be my go to plan -once I’ve given myself a boot up the bum, I’m 12 weeks PP and EBF so not in too much of a hurry.

I found it a massive pain and very trivial. My "expert" couldn't answer some of my really basic questions, seemed to know less about nutrition than me.

I got my money back, joined slimming world and have lost a stone

I think I'm somewhere between the two PP... started Our Path, really enjoyed it, luckily had a great group and we used to chat a lot. Lost half a stone, then the school holidays hit and it all went pear shaped (and so did I!!)

I like the way of eating if I'm at home and/ or can choose exactly where we go to eat. A week away with small DC and eating whatever we can find at the time wasn't helpful; I don't think Our Path has the flexibility that (for example) WW/ SW/ calorie counting do.

I did want to rejoin but just can't afford £30 per month coming up to Christmas, so I emailed them to ask if they had any offers for rejoiners. Never heard anything Confused

I was lucky to be in a great group . Of the 12 that started it, two dropped out by about week 6. Of the other 10 of us, some lost a lot of weight, some floundered. I was a flounderer.
I enjoyed the food when I could follow it - as pp said eating at home or choosing where to eat out. But holidays, work trips, weekends away etc where it was difficult to find the right food was my downfall.
Six of the original group have stayed in contact, three months after finishing the core programme we're all now struggling with weight gain or just can't lose any more weight.
