I was wondering if anyone else has watched this? Fascinating program, essentially debunking the low fat diet myth and looking at keto eating.
They looked at the effect of a keto diet on people with asthma, diabetes, cancer and also children who have autism. They were considerable across the board. Obviously there was weight loss, but the health aspect was really impressive.
They also examined the ecological aspect of eating a keto diet (the issue of eating ruminants which add methane to the atmosphere) which is generally seen as a negative thing, but it attempted to demonstrate that using nature's farming methods (i.e. purely grass fed animals, rotation) ultimately evens that all out.
I would say that there's a lot in the film that needs more actual scientific proof - especially the environmental element of it and the need for a wider data sets, but as a starting point it made some very interesting points. Worth a watch.
