WhatsApp group for weight loss

I’ve posted on a great thread that was set up recently about losing a stone. A few posters suggested a WhatsApp group and I think that’d be a massive help for me.

I’m not sure how we’d go about setting this up as I don’t think we’re allowed to publish our phone numbers on here (?), but would anyone else be interested?

Here’s a bit about me from what I wrote on the other post..............

I was 15st (5’ 8”) in January and joined a gym. I’d been going 2-4 times per week, not dieting as such but just cutting out crap. At the beginning of May I was 13st 9lbs and pretty happy with loss so far. Then I got a viral infection and was too tired to go to the gym - I was only off work for a week, but was still sleeping for 10/12 hours a night and generally pretty exhausted. In the past week or so, I’ve felt a lot better and will go back to the gym soon. Meantime, my weight has gone back up to 14st (weighed this morning).

I’m really up for getting back on track. First goal is to get to about 12st 7lbs and ultimately I’d like to get to BMI

I'd love some support.

Somebody on here a few weeks (months?) ago suggested a Facebook group and I said I was interested in that and she just didn't get back to me! Feel so alone with my struggles

I’m definitely up for it. I think signing into MN every evening to catch up would also be good, but I feel that WhatsApp might make it easier to follow.

I only use WhatsApp for a few things so I’m not sure how to set up a group, but happy to give my number if someone else can set it up and then invite me.

Can't set up a group until I have the numbers of anyone who wants to be part of it though but I'll set one up if a few are interested

Yes please! Ive lost 2 stone and have 2 more to go but hit a plateau and seem to have lost all motivation so some support would be amazing!

Hi! I would be up for it! I was 13 stone 8 in August and I'm slowly but now struggling to get down, I'm around 12 stone 4 at the moment. Still need to lose around 2 stone to be in the healthy range.

I think we are nearly what weight loss twins @CarolineChina - I’m also 5’8” but a few pounds behind you at 15st 5lbs
