Honestly I’m so frustrated with myself.

I lost 3 1/2 stone and was a size 10/12. I felt good and looked better.

I’ve regained some of the weight and I’m over 13 stone again.

I know SW works for me but I cannot go to classes for a couple of weeks as I’ve got commitments on Tuesday mornings for the next 2 weeks. I like the Tuesday morning group so don’t want to join another group.

I’ve got to get some weight off and be accountable.

Anyone want a Sw buddy? Or just a weight loss buddy?

I’m planning

B......fruit and yoghurt
L....carrots and coriander soup
D.....Sw sausages, mash and broccoli

OK i'll join you. I've had loads of stress going on and have been emotional eating lots.

I'm going to do time restricted eating and low carb.

@AntiHop

Great!
I’ve been emotional eating too and been to 7 funerals in 3 months.....😨

Enough is enough.

  1. I need to stop rewarding myself and everyone else with food.
  2. I need to drink more water.

How much do you want to lose?

I'm on SW but the last week I've not been great. Lost 17lbs so far this year, another 16 to interim target. We can do it!!

Great! More people!

I need to meal plan for the week which I haven’t done yet.....I’ve been away —andeatencrap— and I feel bloated and sick.

I tend to do
7 breakfasts
7 lunches
7 dinners

and do a normal meal plan but make it Sw friendly.

Will have a think.

May I join please? I lost 3 stone 3 years ago and have gained maybe 1.5 stone in the last few months. Scales have packed in so need new ones. I used to run but have an undiagnosed chronic condition (GP thinks it could be ME/CFS) and I'm just shattered so have got into rather a negative cycle. I'm recovering from a nervous breakdown and toast and cake has been my comfort. I'll be tracking on My Fitness Pal as that works best for me. The freezer is stocked with batch-cooked Hairy Dieters recipes and I've made breakfast for tomorrow and Tuesday too. Back at work after being off for a month. Structure will be good but I mustn't reward myself with food Cake

Sage

Sounds like you are organised and getting in the zone.

Why do we reward ourselves with food?

Ridiculous really.

I know... it's just such a ridiculous cycle. Thing is, I know deep down that it's no reward. I don't feel good when I overeat. I was so slim and lovely just a few months ago and it's like everything's gone to shit anyway so I may as well just stuff my face, thus giving me even more problems. So rubbish!

Oh I love a glass of wine. But I swear by Seedlip non alcoholic spirit and light fever tree tonic. Delicious, feels like you're having a drink but zero calories in the Seedlip (no artificial stuff either) and minimal cals in the tonic. And Oppo ice cream was a discovery I made last year too. Things need to change for me but I don't want it to be dull! Right. Bedtime for me. Tomorrow is a new beginning.

Hello can I join you calzone?

I previously lost with SW and have gained 4 stone back, I miss the old energetic me who could wear nice clothes.
I started last Monday and after a full week of staying on plan I have lost 4.5lbs. Have set my self a mini target of 1st in 5 weeks.

I went to the pub yesterday afternoon and had a very boring black coffee followed by a Diet Coke Smile and so glad after weighing this morning that I stuck to my plan.

I didn't get chance to eat at all today till dinner, and I wanted to try an SP day. So had baked mushrooms with quark in, baked vine tomato, carrot & swede mash and bean chilli topped with hex a reduced fat cheddar. Lots of water and went to the gym this morning. Did 8 miles on the bikes, 2 on the treadmill and 1 on the cross trainer.

I’m really trying to cut down on sugar and crisps. Have stopped having biscuits with my coffee at work and am eating things like breadsticks for a snack at home. By no means perfect but better than I had been.

When I ‘diet’ I really struggle because not being allowed certain things or to eat all the time just makes me think about it constantly so I’m hoping just cutting down on the bad things will be a bit more gentle on me.

The more the merrier!

I had 3 Linda McCartney’s sausages for dinner with frozen mash made up with chicken stock and carrots.
Was really tasty.....

I’m trying to eat normally and not mindlessly.

I really struggle at work with the constant biscuits and treats. I sit in a really small office only 5 desks, not enough spare space to swing a cat and the coffee table is next to me. Some people in our team have given up chocolate for lent so now they are bringing in biscuits, danishes, jam doughnuts it's driving me crazy. Obviously they sit there eating all day and they are all skinny except for me who's munching on the celery and the biggest one there!

Hey everyone!
I'm getting back into the habit of food tracking this week then I'm trying to reduce calories and start weighing in from next week so I'll post stats when I know them (and also: need to replace scales). Need a slower approach as I'm not very well so need to establish what works for me.

Tracked everything I ate yesterday (not brilliant day but I'm easing in) and today so far is this:

B - Cup of tea with semi-skimmed milk
Homemade Bircher muesli with chopped apple and 6 almonds

L- Seeded bread cheese and chutney sandwich (back into salads soon... don't feel up to this yet. Silly but I find having the energy to make and eat a salad too much right now.)
Clementine

S- Cup of tea with semi skimmed milk; One square of very dark chocolate, One Brazil nut, one medjool date

Dinner will be courgetti bolognaise with pork mince and Jamie Oliver's 7 veg sauce; iceberg lettuce
Fruit

Water- had half a litre so far. Health issue and commuting means I can't drink as much as I used to during the day as no loos en route!

Keep going everyone- marathon not a sprint.

I'm in. Been lurking on the weightloss threads and wanted to hop in as I've started a eating well plan to shift some lbs. Yesterday weigh in was 13.3 so at least 3st would be good. I've been around this for 10yrs so I know I can maintain but I'd like to shift some now.
I'm planning a low carb plan. Bread does me no good but I love it.
We stocked up at our Meat wholesalers yesterday, could barely fit the 10kg of chicken in the freezer. Hit Aldi and bought only fresh food, my fridge has never looked so colourful.
My day off yesterday so made breakfast muffins (egg, sausage, bacon). Bit of a faff to clean the muffin tray so will do a tray bake next week. Made some roasted chickpeas, these were a great success so there's more cooking now.
Yesterday's meals:
B: coffee with cream (not much of a breakfast eater)
L: Chicken & Sausage salad
D: Bolognese with roasted cheesy veg
Todays
B: Coffee
Sn: Banana and a sausage
L: Leftover Bolognese and veg, greek yog with honey, nuts and fruit.
D: Steak burger with cheese (no bun) big portion of hm coleslaw which was amazing.
I'm having a tiny glass of red now but I've drank loads of water today.
I feel good, no more bloat.
