Of the rest of my life.

After a relationship breakdown and a year of depression, agoraphobia, isolation and binge eating for comfort I have gained 4 stone :(

Anf I was already over weight when this started.

I have about 7 stone to lose.

And I am going to do it.
No more fucking about.

No more bad choices.

I am fat and sad. Embarrassed. I have zero confidence. Ive stopped taking care of myself in every way.

My hair is a mess. I haven't wore make up in months. I wear the same clothes every day.

I cry every night.

No more.

No fucking more.

I will officially weigh in tomorrow morning.

I estimate 17 stone 8.

In a year I will be under 13 St.

Struggling Thankyou. That made me cry. I just have so little confidence that I just feel I'm not capable of anything.

But I am.

Food doesn't own me.

You can do it. I lost 8 stone in a year and a half on keto, so proof that it can be done!

I just know you can do this. you have the same tone and strength in your posts as my mate did who has lost 6 stone over 2 years! She feels so good about herself is now really fit, happy and confident. It's been a joy to watch her take control of her own health.

You’re right, food doesn’t own you! Confidence takes time to build up, but have you thought of trying affirmations each morning? It might sound so small but I started this January and it’s improved my confidence so much, which in turn has helped me with my diet as my attitude to food changed from a comfort mechanism to something to help fuel me Smile

I follow Keto Christina on YouTube, she lost the same amount as me she makes it really simple. Diet Doctor is also a brilliant website with really easy visual guides for carbs and what to eat. Watch The Magic Pill on Netflix.

You sound so determined, good on you... Can I join you? I have 6 stone to lose and I've been prevaricating for ages. I need a kick up the arse.

Look after you. Self care is so important. Helps me keep on track when it comes to my depression,/anxiety. A day at a time, eating well, going for a good walk, taking time to condition my hair, treating myself to a new shower gel instead of a bar of chicken... It all adds up and the better I feel the more I do to look after myself and eat well.

You can do it.
And as a first step tomorrow, be kind to yourself and change your user name to something more motivating like OnMyWayKatt or IamdoingitKatt.
A bit of NLP never hurt anyone. Wink

Keto sounds like a great idea- something I'm trying to do myself and I was going to recommend the diet doctor too.

It may be worth building in some fasting once you are comfortable doing Keto. There is a Facebook group Resetters and YouTube videos by Dr Mindy Pelz and Dr Jason Fung that are really motivational.

Good luck 👍

Lol no, I meant "in the last year". I've not chopped off my legs. 😂

Good luck, I'm in the same boat. At least 8 stone to lose till I'm pre-baby weight and even then I was overweight, looks more like 10 stone to get to my ideal weight.

Nearly 2 stone lost since 1st January by low carbing. Not sure if it'd be suitable for you but for me, removing carbs and most importantly sugar, has made a huge difference in my appetite. I no longer binge and I don't feel the insatiable hunger I used to.
