I burn around 550 calories exercising a day,I'm eating 1200 calories.Does it matter if I go over a bit or should I stick to 1200?

If you are tryng to lose weight, eating more to match whatever you think you've worked off seems pointless.

No I don't mean eat them all back I meant if I eat 1250 or 12300

Oh, well I wouldn't get too worked up about 50-100 calories now and again.

You don't want to get all obsessive and venture into eating disorder territory.

I won't do,thanks for replying

I never eat back. Partly because it's impossible to know exactly how much you have burned and I worry about over estimating.

@honeylane true, I'm going to try not to.Ive been doing good so far

Theory is try not to eat them back for weight loss, but there is obviously a balance between getting enough food in to recover from the workout.

100 here or there isn't going to break the bank, if you are at 1200 a day anyway (which sounds like a big deficit).

Yes, eat them back. If you're at 1200 anyway you're already at a deficit. If you do 550 calories of exercise that's not going to be sustainable.
