This morning I hit 16st I am so angry at myself as I worked hard to get down to 9st 10lb three years ago and I've messed it all up by mindlessly eating through boredom since leaving my ex.
So today I've dusted off my old mfp account and I'm starting again. I dont plan to eat diet crap just stick to my calories eating whatever fits in them and trying to walk more. Anyone want to join me?
2 weeks ago I hit 15 stones. I swore this would be the year that I lost weight and fit and strong.
I've started with a personal trainer and dietician who has written me a keto diet plan which I started on Friday.
I go on holiday in 6 weeks and need to have lost at least 1 stone by then, preferably 1.5. Then I go to Paris in June and want another 1.5 stone off by then.
How are you doing it? I'm eating keto, walking 2 miles + per day and 3 X exercise sessions per week.

I'm just cutting back portion sizes and trying to stop the mindless eating. I know if I try to cut anything out I will just rebel and eat more it's just how my mind works. I'm also going to get the kids out walking/ playing football in the evenings. I may sign up for the shine walk again as that's how I really got into it before but it costs so much to join I think I need to find a free event instead.
Can I join please? I need to lose 4.5-5 stone. I started slimming world 2 weeks ago and I’m 8lb down so far but still a very long way to go. I lost 3 stone last year but as soon as it got to the first anniversary of my dad’s death i started eating again and put 2.5 stone back on 😤. I’m determined it comes off and stays off this time.
I’ll join you. I have around 3 stone to lose, and a serious lack of willpower! I did slimming world after my last baby was born but I don’t think it’s very good in the long run. Planning to just not eat crap, eat more salads and try fit in some gentle exercise in a day. I think having a group to be accountable to might help me
@Kim82 well done on your loss so far. Sorry for your loss. Its hard on certain dates isn't it. I lost my dad 17 years ago and it still hits me on certain dates.

I've just prepped my lunches for the next 3 days and popped them in tubs into the fridge. Prepared 2 snacks per day too for the next 3 days.
While I make tea tonight (roast pork with carrots and green beans) I'll prep some home made lamb burgers, trout and lamb kebabs.
I think preparation is the key.

Completely agree that preparation is key! At the moment I only have two mornings a week to myself and whatever time I get once the rugrats are in bed (I have two toddlers), it's hard work. I do do lots of walking, but am starting to develop a foot injury, think it's time to look for some more supportive shoes.....
me. I'm pretty much in exactly the same boat (and exactly the same weight) So fed up. None of my beautiful dresses fit.
Hi, I need to loose a stone. Mindless eating, self sabotage. I want it off by early summer. Have been doing slimming world but for some reason it makes me binge eating. So I scrapping that and saving myself ££ and will go it alone. Or here with you guys!
I need to up the exercise again!

I have been out and done day 1, week 1 of c25k this morning and am meeting a friend for a walk this afternoon button just rubbish diet wise. Like food and wine too much.
Don't know what to do, slimming world or low carb or what.....

it's all motivation, And I struggle to with keeping up the motivation.
I have my size 10 skinny jeans i brought ages ago but never fitted into, they're hanging up in my bedroom on full display next to the mirror! With a sticky note saying "You got this" on them.
maybe sit down and make a plan for this week - every night look at the plan and do a massive tick or smiley face when you've stuck to it!
Same! Calories come from booze & "cheat" treats which turns into cheat days > then into weeks!
Same as OP, get the MFP (My Fitness Pal) App and track on that, it usually tells you how many calories you should consume to loose weight.
I started 3 weeks ago. I have around 5 stone to lose and I'm using MFP to help me along.
I'm tracking at 1200 calories a day plus I'm allowing myself 5 measured portions of veg a day without counting them in...more in an effort to encourage healthier habits than sending me to the biscuit barrel for a snack.
I'm currently 7lbs down and happy with my progress. I've only had two 'starving' days where I couldn't stop eating but did damage limitation on both and just ate a shed load of salad!

5 foot 2 and just over 13 stone! The heaviest I've ever been, over the last year the weight has just creeped up. Last week I decided enough was enough and so I've been good, got some old diet chef food (that I bought in January intending on new year new body regime that lasted a few days!) Been eating diet chef plus slim fast shakes. I have noticed a difference but not going to weigh myself for another few weeks. Also thought of going for walks in the evening to clear my head from the stresses of work and family.

I was 14st 7 in September and dieted until December when I fell off the wagon a bit 🙈 I weighed myself last week and I've gained 10lb since my last weigh in before Christmas so not catastrophic! Starting (again) weight is 12st 3 and I've been following Slimming World. My downfall is chocolate biscuits and bread so I've just stopped buying them. Weigh day for me is Tuesday so hoping to have lost a pound or two when I weigh in tomorrow! My goal weight is 10st ish
I’m somewhere around the middle of losing weight, have lost 5st over 2 years on and off by tracking on MFP.
Have another 4 to go at least (that would take me to 11st which isn’t too horrible at 5’9”.) I aim for 1400 cals/day and have joined a gym that offers HIIT classes last month and go four times a week. Exercising hasn’t affected my weight loss but I’ve lost 13 inches in total!
I'm 15 stone 12. I'm really sad and disgusted with myself. I've been through a difficult time recovering from having abusive parents. I am doing the blood sugar diet. My heaviest healthy weight for my height is 11.11stone. I've just got really low self esteem and low self confidence so I don't think I'm going to be able to do it.
please may I join, I need to lose at least 4 stone (hangs head in shame), I hadn't realised how bad it had got until I got told off by my GP.
I comfort eat at home, rarely going out because I have an autistic son to look after. Need to combat constant snacking in the evenings.
