How to loose weight if you are rich but lazy

Just curious really. If I was rich I think I'd have to go for a personal chef to prepare my meals and ensure they were delicious and nutritionally balanced as much as possible. What if you weren't quite that rich but could afford some sort of intervention - would you go for a personal trainer? A meal delivery service like 'Jane plan'? Or something else?

Meal delivery and a PT.

Would rather spend my time getting fit, if I didn't have to work

One of those things where you get all the food delivered.

(If I was really rich (and childfree) I would go into a weight loss camp for a few months until I came out at my desired weight Grin)

If I wasn't working i'd spend more training but fat loss is 80% diet so I'd have Protein Haus or similar on delivery.

I would get a gastric band and a personal trainer to come to my house 5 days a week.

How rich am I?

Ideally I'd have meals delivered, a PT, my own indoor swimming pool and my own gym. Plus a nanny, gardener, cleaner etc so I could spend all my time on my health and fitness and not have to do anything else!

Swimming pool.
Personal trainer.
Home gym.
Chef.

In theory all of the above. In reality I'd be sat on my palatial sofa with my palatial arse.

I would definitely not be working and some days work is the only thing that gets me off my backside 😂

Seriously I think I'd invest in some physio and sports massage as my poor joints are screwed from running and a pt for strength training to improve that and a swanky gym where id mostly be in the spa 👍

I'm not rich but have good disposable income.

I go on boot camps and juice retreats. About £1,500 each week but it knocks off the dress size in a week and gets me back to where I want to be.

To lose weight... I'd get a chef to cook healthy meals for me.

Although if I was that rich, I wouldn't need to lose weight as I'd walk miles shopping daily!

I’ve used a diet delivery service before to help lose weight. They’re ok, get a bit samey though.

I’ve used diet chef and also balance box, which was a pain, as it was all fresh and when I ordered it you could not do it for 4 days at a time, and then you’d have to re order, but there was never any deliveries available when I looked to order some more.

I just use my fitness pal now, along with my Fitbit, moving more and eating less. It’s going ok at the moment, still early doors but I think I’ve got myself into a routine.

*you could only do it for 4 days at a time that should say.

I’d book into some kind of weight loss clinic where meals were prepared for me and a PT made me do excercise and swim daily.

I’d probably have a tummy tuck too!

It depends whether I was so rich I didn’t have to do anything or whether I was cash rich but time poor. I would probably get a meal delivery or similar if the latter. If the former I would eat as little as possible and live in the gym to the extent possible on the limited food.

I follow someone on insta who is very fit. She obviously has money - chef, housekeeper, PT, exercise equipment in the home. Kids feral homeschooled. So all her free time is devoted to honing her body. It's so narcissistic!!

Anyway, I'd want a swimming pool. Top of the range running machine. PT. And my gob stapled shut!!!

If I was so rich that I hardly needed to work, or never work at all, I would definitely have a personal trainer. And probably a life coach. And maybe a hypnotherapist.

Yes, and an indoor swimming pool.

Gastric band.
Or desert island diet camp.

I hate formal exercise programs. So no PT for me but if I had no job and all the time in the world I'd walk lots and do lots of gardening/work on my allotment (which would be in my huge garden of course and would be amazing). That would keep me fit. I'd definitely have a personal chef.

@E20mom please tell me about juice retreats!!

Report
E20mom · 26/02/2019 21:51

@NigellasGuest they're great! Really relaxing. I've done either 7-8 over the last 10 years in Turkey, Portugal and Spain. Lie by a pool relaxing for 7 days, a bit of optional exercise and 4 juices per day.

Are there any in the UK? Sounds good!

Lose. Loose rhymes with goose and means something different.
