Very miserable dinner to try keep within my calories and I’m not particularly hungry. Although I could murder a glass of wine - I won’t though. Lot of evening left & 56 cals left, going to be a long night 😫

Thanks for the thread! I can't say I'm doing well though but I'm not going to beat myself up. It's half term so I'm just going to enjoy it.

I cracked and had some toast, over by around 140 so could be worse. Oh yeah wreck, half term is a bit of a break. Sometimes it’s needed. Going to close the kitchen & head to bed to watch stuff. Another long and boring day ahead of me tomorrow, I read somewhere earlier the opposite of happiness is boredom. I thoroughly agree

Fucking give up. Was doing ok but the DC have pushed every button. Raspberry magnums. Say no more
Could go to gym either or until next Tuesday now.
Actually not even then, next Thursday as might be in London 2 days.
Duck it all.

Will aim to do least damage.

Just saying I love them dearly but this half term solo parenting, trying to work and do all other stuff has pushed me to the limit today. Meltdown Central and that's just me Grin

Life I have had a similar accident with the halotop for very similar reasons. Deep breath let today’s food go and start again tomorrow.

Hi all, just coming over for the new thread.

Had a bit of a stressful day today with ds2 having an emergency trip to the doctor this afternoon & then rushing to get to work after and so missed lunch and decided to have a chocolate muffin after dinner instead. All within calories and it was delicious!

Food today then was

Breakfast - bagel with lean bacon, lettuce, tomato, lighter than light mayo

Snack- Cup of tea with 5 of the chocolate and orange bites from tesco (natural ingredients like Nakd bars, but only 21 cals each. Big bag of about 20 for £1.50 and there is an almond and date version i think )

A asda version fibre one on the way out the door to work after the doctor

Dinner was 3 sausages, baby potatoes, frozen veg and some gravy

Followed by aforementioned muffin and a diet coke

Steps ending on 10203

Tomorrow im planning to hit 11k steps as well as including a youtube HIIT workout if I can

Kids have an innate sense on what buttons to push and when, a raspberry magnum is the perfect antidote life😋
I’m a bit knackered already, crap sleep from around 3am on, I know I slept but my body doesn’t feel like it did iykwim? I sprang out of bed at 6 and came over to my office for today (I work in 2 places) - had enough time for a 25 minute walk so that gave me a bit over 3,000 steps. With a walk at lunch and a quick walk after, I should get my 15,000
I’ve company over for dinner tonight and I’m determined not to drink. It’s been so hard to shift the Christmas gain and get back to 150’s I think every little thing I can do will help get me closer to the 140’s by the time I go on holidays in around 7 weeks. I’m living for some sun, although I must say it’s pretty lovely here today. Mild and springlike

Yesterday
Felt like I ate loads of carbs & although I was under on calories I thought there was no hope for my protein macro so I was pleasantly surprised to see that I hit it Smile
I was at 10000 steps by 12 yesterday following a 5k morning run so I was delighted with that. Especially cos I was spending 3 hours driving yesterday

Today will see how it goes, I was at my parents yesterday so in control of my food, today & tomo will be different.

I'm back to last weeks average today, while I hope to lose I'm realistic that it's midterm & if I stay the same that's ok too

Not2 can you find something positive in today's long boring day?

Life dc prey on our weak moments I'm convinced of it, ds pushed buttons I didn't even know I had last night Angry
Haven't had raspberry magnum should I keep it that way?

Got a reeses egg yesterday thought they'd be amazing they're not 187 cals wasted Grin

Hmm - yes I’ve found one positive I’m over halfway through the day! I’m suffering from a bad case of be careful what you wish for, used to have a mega stressful job working all hours/travelling monthly to 30 hours a week being bored off my brain. Next my diamond shoes will be too tight 😉

Oh I so want a raspberry magnum now!!! Starving for my dinner, still on course for no wine but 30 minutes before my company arrives - it could all go wrong yet (not always easy company)
Got my 15,000 done, last 5,000 marching watching operation transformation (yearly Irish weighloss program) Spent a lot of time shouting at the telly, smug irritating “experts” talking scutter. But it passed an hour and got the exercise done.

No breakfast

Lunch was breaded chicken breast sandwich and chips

Dinner likely to be toast. There is a distinct shortage of tonic but I reckon I will manage to pull together a (bloody lethal) gin

Pilates and cleaning for exercise

Foods yesterday
Egg on toast.
Couscous salad (pomegranate, olives, roasted pepper, cucumber, harissa), hard boiled egg, roasted chickpeas.
Wrap with roasted veg, salad.
Omelette and sweet potato wedges.

Exercise - 13 miles with running club.

Food today.
Avocado on toast.
Two Pulsin bars
Quinoa salad, mango, raspberries and blueberries.
Four squares extra dark chocolate.
Wraps with roasted peppers, salad and sun dried tomatoes.
Few peanuts, hard boiled egg.
Glass of wine.

Exercise

Interval reps at the track, 3 x (3x400) off 60 second recovery. Weights and abs session at the gym.

I possibly should have checked there was enough tonic for a second gin, I now have a large double with about a tablespoon of tonic in it.

Thanks Just, ds much better today.

Today was okay calorie wise although i ate some really crap food, im feeling particularly snacky as mother nature is due to strike.

I had pizza bagels for brunch (bagel thin, tomato puree, cheese)

Then had some instant noodles before at around 2 so i was starving at work.

In between that had a mini creme egg and 3 of the choc orange things i mentioned yesterday.

Dinner was better. Chicken stir fry with rice noodles for me, a jelly and a dairy milk little bar for afters. And a diet coke.

3 litres of water today and 11200 steps. Exercise today on top of walking was having a massive clear out of all the toys in the kids room. Every box/toy got brought down the stairs while ds2 was napping, sorted and taken back up. I was knackered after carrying loads up and down the stairs.

Goals tomorrow...

11500 steps. HIIT workout

0.6lb gain since Monday. Not too bad as I've been eating what I like. Today won't be great. Yesterday I hit nearly 10000 steps which doesn't happen when I'm working so pleased with that.

I also watched a bit of operation transformation but I distracted myself with talking to dm instead

Wolf better to run out of tonic than gin Grin

I did ok until dinner & movie time at my db's & finished up 636 cals over, it could've been a lot worse!
I bought them a multipack of green & blacks mini bars 12 for €6 only 83cals, going to pick a pack up for myself at the weekend
