Herbalife (smart nutrition)

I am looking at trying herbalife but would like some reviews before I make up my mind. I’m hearing good and bad things and since it’s around £120 for a month’s worth of products I want to research it a bit more.
A lot of reality stars seem to be promoting it which puts me off a little bit as I’m not sure if they are getting paid to say how amazing it is. Has anyone lost weight doing this diet?

Is Herbalife a MLM scheme?

It is an MLM, trying to con people out of cash.
Weight loss is always calories in < calories out. Herbalife does achieve this by restricting you to a few shakes a day - it’s all any diet plan does. Whether it’s sustainable is another thing entirely.

Personally I’d register a MFP account for free and put the money towards a gym membership.

I do herbalife. I enjoy it. Yes it's a MLM however this doesn't bother me as all I do is use the products... I make no attempt to sell it or anything!

I find it very easy to follow and reduce calorie contol. The results are good and I've been doing it for months. The longer I do it, the easier I find it!

I tried it. It played havoc with my guts. I was in agony and I didn't lose weight. Which is strange because protein works shakes don't have that effect on me and have always worked well when I want to shed a few pounds.

I tried it years ago, with a recommendation from my neighbour. I couldn't get on with it at all and although had a few shakes (that tasted fine) I didn't even complete one day as I should.

I think there are much better alternatives out there is you want to go the meal replacement route. I tried exante too and it was the same story as Herbalife for me (although it was better). Slim and Save was a different story and I've just lost 3 st on that plan - I find their meal replacements nicer and their customer service is fantastic.

It's really good nutrition but not sustainable for me. You be better off reading the sirt food diet, imilar effect on wellbeing. it's much more sustainable once you've got into the habit.
