I havent recently had a child but i am trying to lose wait myself (especially after christmascake) ive managed to drop 6 pounds in 3 weeks!shockive started 30 day abs/arm/bum challenge...just type in to google images and tons come up and start off relatively easy and can do at home
also ive done a food diary to see what naughty snacks i keep sneaking in (there were lots!) So really helps to keep track of what your eating without realising. Obviously as a busy mum of two i can imagine how hard it is and wishing you the best!

Welcome! Im new myself but the support on here is fab! I dont have any children yet (not for a lack of trying though!) Its hard to get the motivation isn't it? I only realised i had put on weight as all my clothes were getting a bit too snug for my liking-dont have one bra that fitsconfused i usually weighed 8 1/2 stone but i had gone up to just over 10 so another stone to go yet! What is your diet like at the moment? I was terrible with fizzy drinks sometimes 2L a day and im sure cutting that out must be making a huge difference! And good luck for your first day!

Oh I see .. it's good though if you don't have kids yet then I think you will have good time to spend on workout if you want . You are right leaving drinks helps . I haven't had any sodas 🥤 or any sugary drink today .. I just can't go out much because of kids but I will start that too. You should try to like go out for a walk . That used to help me before I had kids

Hello there, I'm new here too! Christmas hit me hard and after gaining almost a stone it's time for me to finally do something about it! I'm 5ft5 and 11st9lbs, but seem a lot bigger due to carrying all my weight around the middle (no boobs or bum sadly). I lost just under 4lbs this week bringing me to 11st5.4lbs but have in and had a chicken nugget happy meal AND a big Mac meal today! I know disgusting confused

2angelbabies Fri 25-Jan-19 18:26:28

Hey welcome .. yeah you know one of my friend lost her weight by dieting good for 6 days of the week and one day she ate whatever she wanted .. she lost weight good too .. so it's ok to have one day of the week .. just add some fruits in your diet for that day too ..

Welcome kindofnew! I recently read a good way of looking at it if you think you have been naughty with your diet...a lapse is when you have a slip up like a big mac, a relapse is when youve eaten badly for a couple of days straight but as long as its not a collapse which is eating nothing but crap for weeks on end-then your all good! Got to have a treat every now and again just everything in moderation. And congratulations 4lbs is amazing to lose in 1 week!when i started I actually googled what 1pound of fat looks likeconfused-ill never say 'ive only lost 1lb' ever again!!! 2angelbabies I definatley need to get out walking more-the fresh air does a world of good aswell! And well done avoiding the sodas-im craving a sugary treat now but resisting eating watermelon insteadhalo

Annunaki Fri 25-Jan-19 19:43:35

Sorry didnt realise how long that post wasconfused

I love the whole lapse, relapse, collapse thing! Tomorrow is definitely a new day, I want to fly down to 11st as quick as possible and from there I'm going to target myself 1lb a week.

No kids here but I'm currently about 14st and 4ft10 and need to lose a lot of weight as quickly as possible because I've just booked a beach and waterpark holiday with my size 10-12 best friend and our very very fit and attractive male friends and I don't want to look like a whale next to them. They wont and don't care what I look like but I'm insecure about being with them looking the way I do because irrationally I am worried that people will judge me for being overweight and then judge me for being with them when they look so much better. Although one of the guys also looks like a sasquatch hes that hairy so he'll look like hes wearing woolens while were there grin

Ill definatley check that tea out thank you alice! Ive been having hot water and lemon in the mornings-apparently speeds up your metabolism? Dont know how true that is but still better than my usual diet coke! 2angelbabies-you go girl! Ive done my best to remove any goodies from the fridge and keep a plate with grapes/melon/kiwi to pick on if im watching telly, im murder for mindlessly eating!i think its the small changes that make the differencesmileI think its the fiber in the fruit that fills you up?

Annunaki Sat 26-Jan-19 13:25:08

Welcome buntybear! Well youve come to the right place! I will admit i currently resemble the elusive sasquatch myselfblush have you started any diet/exersise regime yet?

Annunaki Sat 26-Jan-19 13:25:52

Kindofnew 1lb a week is very achievable-i have no doubt you can do it!

greenflamingo Sat 26-Jan-19 13:31:06

I’m in the same boat! Had my third child and I have a stone to lose which is stubbornly clinging on. I get really down about it if I have a bit of a lapse but I’m glad to read about the lapse/collapse thing!

2angelbabies Sat 26-Jan-19 13:51:20

Buntybear I totally understand what you are saying .. I have a planned summer vacation and I know for sure everyone will be in their greatest shapes . You can do it just start slowly and once you get used to it then you will have a routine set .

Annunaki definitely small changes make a lot of difference . I just hope I can keep it up today . I try my best but then someone in my family or friends bring over something fried or totally unhealthy lol 😂 so I will avoid it today
