Any tips/advice appreciated but anyone willing to join also welcome!

I'm going to treat this as bit of a food/exercise diary. I'm 5'4 and weigh 10st. Hoping to get down to 9!

Typical day:
Breakfast - 2 scrambled eggs, one brown toast, 2 cherry tomatoes

Lunch - handful of plain chicken breast, salad leaves, tomato, cucumber, beetroot

Dinner - homemade chilli and boiled rice or chicken breast and veggies or similar

Snack - half handful of blueberries and 3 strawberries

30 mins of Pilates or 30 mins running (alternating).

How does my diet/exercise sound?

I'd try and remove a few of the carbs so have chilli without rice and if possible remove the kidney beans and substitute with more mushrooms.

Thank you! I normally only have one lot of carbs a day. So if say, I had a slice of brown toast at breakfast I wouldn't have rice for dinner and vice versa

Thanks for the tip!

Thats really good - are you feeding your family on this as well? Im unsure how to start - suddenly decided to get married in 6 months and NEED to do something. But I have a busy life with DP and a child. Need quick and easy food. I also need wine at weekends!!! Grin

Cauliflower rice is a decent and filling substitute for something like curry or chilli try to ignore the fact that it smells like farts when cooking!

@Ironmanrocks congratulations!

That's my motivation too although I have an extra month after you for my wedding!

My husband to be is also on a healthy eating kick so it's been a little easier to keep up as we are able to help motivate each other. We have an 18 month old so he's pretty up for trying most food so we are lucky. At lunch if I'm having a salad, I'll just give him a sandwich or something instead. I haven't tried him with curry or anything spicy yet.

Well done for getting back on it and it's definitely worth persevering as it will pay dividends. I am constantly having blips but as long as I get back to the low carbing the next day it seems to be ok. I am also trying to get back to 9 stone and have a few pounds to go but it's in sight now! Have you weighed again yet?

@Eattothebeat thank you!

It's the chocolate. I miss the chocolate!

I started at 10st 4 but haven't managed to drop past 9'11. I'm trying to not weigh myself too often though and instead have chosen to take a weekly "progress" photo which I can definitely see a difference in.

Just can't wait to get back to exercising!
