I've got a stone to lose - anyone else?

weigh 11 and want to get back to 10 - gonna do it be exercise, cutting out wine and eating healthy foods. No wonder diets, no fancy juice only diets - just good old healthy living.

My aim is to get a stone off in 6 weeks - so middle of August.

Anyone fancy it?

I'll join - I've just come back from holiday, and I'm so glad the weather is so horrid I can cover up! I'll way myself in the morning, if I'm brave enough.

McDreamy · 26/06/2007 19:47

huffpuff · 26/06/2007 19:48

Me. Currently 10st10lb and want to be roughly 10st by end of school summer holidays. Am breastfeeding so want to be sensible and loose about 1lb a week.

Hideehi · 26/06/2007 20:47

Right i need at least a stone off too, I'm starting my food diary tomorrow.
Is a stone by Mid August realistic ?

cupcakes · 26/06/2007 20:50

I am 11 stone and want to be 10. Am also breastfeeding so need to do it slowly.

Will joining this thread make it happen by osmosis??

cupcakes · 26/06/2007 20:51

would be fantastic to go back to school (dd's, not mine ) looking slim.

huffpuff · 26/06/2007 21:16

hi all - thanks for taking the time to read my thread!

I dont know if a stone by mid Aug is realistic - all i know is that i want to be stone lighter by then! 1lb-2lb a week is the norm isnt it?

Im hopefully gonna go for a bike ride tomorrow evening once the children have gone to bed.

I had ds over a year ago and have been a stone overweight since then - its time i got rid of it! DD starts school in September and i do not want to be a frumpy mummy at those gates!

oh yeah can I go round the house tonight eating up all the food i shouldn't be eating for the rest of the month?

huffpuff · 26/06/2007 21:32

thats what ive done!

Not having any wine is gonna be the hardest part - ive also been feeling a bit depressed of late and have been told that drinking alcohol can make that worse so i have every reason to cut it out.

huffpuff · 26/06/2007 21:43

yep - im pretty crapola in the evenings - actually its more around the dc's tea time when i frantically pick at everything i see. If i exercise in the evenings it will mean less time to stuff my face!

I am 10.12 and want to be about 9.12. I am 5.6 and REALLY don't understand how I am so heavy when most of my clothes are a size 10 (I used to be between 9.7-10.00 pre children)

just don't get it!

my sister is skinny and she eats:

skinny latte and Special K bar for breakfast
soup and bit of bread or big salad or sushi for lunch
pasta with healthy sauce and salad for tea

and fruit in-between if hungry

going to aim to do that.

hy am so heavy????

1dilemma · 26/06/2007 21:46
