Gastric Mind band, has anyone tried it? Can it really work?

Hi Everyone,

I am desperate to lose weight permernantly for my health, I did consider a gastric band or balloon but am scared of the possible side effects and surgery. I came across a link for the Gastric Mind Band at a clinic in Spain where you go for 4 days for various therapies and hypnosis that makes you believe you have a gastric band. The website for the clinic claims they have an 80% success rate with out surgery which is higher than the real thing and cheaper too with no recovery time. It all sounds too good to be true. I'm not completely sold as there aren't many reviews.

Anyone been for this therapy? Did it work for you? Was it permanent weight loss?

I had it done 3 1/2 weeks ago at a place local to me. I've lost 8.5 pounds so far (though haven't weighed in for a few days so could be more) and my attitude to food has completely changed.

You still have to work at it a little bit and be conscious about what you're eating so you don't fall back into bad habits, but I've completely stopped binge eating, which was my main problem! I now only eat when I'm hungry and stop as soon as I'm full.

I wouldn't go all the way to Spain for it, find a hypnotherapist near you. Mine cost £75 and I got a recording to listen to every day as well. If you're midlands based let me know and I'll tell you their details.

Hi Sweetheart1313, over the years I have tried many weight loss treatment such as cambridge diet, weight watchers, and allizonne, general exercise and healthy eating and 10 sessions of hypnotherapy (not the Gastric band type). I have lost weight but not been able to maintain it long term. I think I need to get to the root of the problem and solve it for good.

The therapy doesn't have to be in Spain, they can come to me (at a cost of course). They can do via Skype or there are a few therapists in the UK that do it. It's just that the creators of the therapy are based in Spain, and I thought it would be like a holiday, a very expensive holiday

All the info is on the website, I think the basic package is £1500 and the more advanced package with unlimited follow up Skype appointments for one year and more medical tests is about £2300. I am thinking to try the more expensive one but it's a lot of money! I have spoken to 2 ladies who had it done very recently. I was hoping to fine someone who went through it a while ago so I could know if they kept the eight off.

Hi all,
I've never joined anything online ever! Let alone typed a question but desperate times call for me to actually address my online phobia. I've been looking/researching Virtual Gastric Band Hypnosis & stumbled on chats on here hence my getting the app to ask if someone can put a link to the actual 'Easy Loss Virtual Gastric Band Hypnosis on here for me please as it sounds worth a shot but there are so many I want to get the right one. Drs say I need to lose at lease 3 stone, I've done it before but it keeps coming back on 🤦🏻‍♀️or is there a better one out there?
