Husband and I decided to do “whole 30 plus dairy and legumes” more than anything as a way to cut down our processed food consumption (it was his idea!). I suggest we have a mackerel and rocket salad for lunch and he puts on a sulky face and says it’s “not much of a lunch”. I try and explain that having too much of a lunch is why I’m so fat and that it’s a good thing and he says “well what about me”. It’s not like he’s not skirting the edges of morbid obesity himself! The whole point overall is surely to eat less not to eat more expensive calories!!
