I’m just curious to see if anyone has done slimming world perviously, lost weight then plateaud and moved to weight watchers and successfully lost again?

Or felt slimming world was too restrictive etc

Would be great to hear your stories as I’ve done SW and lost weight - now put it all back on and cant get back into it but also cant decide whether to change or stay!

Thanks x

I used slimming world when younger and it did help me. I haven’t tried weight watchers though. If slimming world isn’t easy for you to get back into and you’ve gained the weight previously lost, it couldn’t hurt to try something new. I’m overweight and I think the keeping it off would be the hardest part. Slimming world seems like it should be better for that reason but if it’s stopped working for you then weight watchers might.

Me and a few friends have recently swapped and are all loving it so far. I think it teaches us what we want to eat and what we need to eat are 2 different things. I cooked a pasta dish tonight that would be free on slimming world. I would've piled my plate massively....when I weighed out my portion size tonight I was horrified at first. Then when i added a bit of salad etc it looked bigger, then after eating it I was actually full. This proved a few things to me....when I was doing slimming world I was eating huge portions of "free" food, and I don't have an off switch! I'm hoping this is the diet for me. 😁

Have done SW several times over the last few years. Seem to do ok at first then really struggle. I have a PT once a week and also go to the gym twice but it doesn’t seem to get me anywhere. Did WW many years ago thinking of giving it another go. Would like to hear if anyone having more success with it.
