Hello.
I'm so hungry all of the time. Literally craving take aways, junk, toast ect. I have 2 big events this month and have sabotaged them.

Can you distract yourself with something else? Maybe swimming?? (Don’t scream). Or walking.

I'm off work at moment could be boredom. I try and walk for 7000 steps a day, but that leaves me starving

Ho me much are you eating? If you’re dieting too hard you’re going to be hungry.

How much protein do you eat? That’s the thing that dials down hunger pangs.
How much carbohydrate do you eat (sugar, grains etc)? They can dial up hunger pangs.

If it’s false hunger I found Eating Less and Brain over Binge helpful to understand how our brains send out urges to eat signals from habit even if you’re not really hungry, and what you can do about them. For example in Eating less she explains that phenomenon when you finish a full meal but are hungrier than when you started. It’s junk messages from your brain. She covers how to deal with them.

Water
Protein
Exercise - after all the hard work, I don't want to waste it all on a mars bar....and I feel less hungry.

What sort of diet regime are you following - calorie restriction? Low carb? Slimming World?

Me too. Eating just for the sake of it. I am fasting completely today with the snake diet because I'm fed up of just shoveling down food I don't even need or like. Not sure how long the fast will continue Halo

Could you post here a typical days food diary? We might be able you suggest changes.

What's your BMI?

It's worth remembering that hunger could well be a psychological feeling rather than a physical feeling. By that I mean many people think they are hungry when actually their body does not need extra calories. It is OK and normal to be hungry and experience hunger as your body gets ready for the next meal. Some people feel the psychological need to actively avoid ever feeling hungry. That in itself is not healthy.
