Hi all. So I used to follow Slimming World and Weight Watchers but it is just too expensive to keep doing it especially now I have to pay childcare so that's saving me over £20 a month and my shopping bill has gone down a lot too. So I am basically doing it myself! I am not eating sugary food like biscuits, chocolates etc. I replace sugar with xylitol when I have coffee or tea. I drink skimmed milk, have weetabix so I do have a fair idea about what's good and what's bad for me. Just wondering if you think this meal plan is OK so far?
Day one -
Breakfast:
3 eggs, 1 Wholemeal toast with lighter cheese spread, 3 bacon rashers with fat cut off
Snack: banana, satsuma and pea snack crisps from Aldi
Lunch: seeded flatbread with chicken, lettuce, Gouda cheese and a squirt of lighter than light mayonnaise with blueberries
Dinner: fish from Aldi (basa fillet), homemade chips and mushy peas
Day two -
Breakfast: Overnight porridge oats with strawberries and banana
Snack: satsuma and a slice of chocolate chip cake (literally the size of a thumb! Very small)
Lunch: flatbread with chicken, lettuce, cheese and mayonnaise (again for work), pea snack crisps, apple, and a low calorie hot chocolate drink
Dinner:
Turkey steaks topped with tomato purée and cheese, rocket salad, homemade vegetable couscous with roasted peppers
Thank you :)
