We’re a very friendly, supportive group, and all at different stages, but we’re all seeing some real changes in ourselves and our attitudes to food. It’s a long old road, but it helps to chat along the way

Collectively, we’ve lost an incredible…......... 🌟 1205.75lbs 🌟 since the start of the first thread in Dec 16, which is amazing!

We tend to weigh in on Fridays or Saturdays, but feel free to join in at any time, with whatever weight loss method you think works best for you. Some of us have lost more than others, but we're all in this together, so if you're losing, gaining or staying the same, it's nice to have some inspiration to keep going.

We’re always welcoming to newcomers, but as with the previous thread(s), I’ll add one caveat - we’re all here because we are trying to lose a LOT of weight. If you’re looking to lose the last half stone, or even two or three stone, this might not be the thread for you. Good luck with your goals, but you may find more support with in threads with people who have similar goals to you.

Day 1 30 shred done! 😄

I had to modify the cardio to jogging but sort from that I’m so pleased I did it. I remember when I started exercising I wanted to do a dvd and this one was one of the highly recommended ones. I just wanted to cry as no way would I ever be able to exercise if that was the level of intensity! So NSV, and very very happy that my previous strength training showed in this!

I think I’m happy to do it at my own pace, so I definitely won’t be doing it in 30 day’s but I’ll add it a couple of days a week to mix up my dvd’s a bit when I get back to routine.

Also I’m very aware of not crapping our my metabolism so I’m using the next couple of weeks (dd does school induction for the next 2) to figure out my new routine rotating DVDs, strength, walking, c25K, Clubercise and rest days.

Blooming heck ⬆️ I’ve come a long way from getting a bus home on the preschool run just because I couldn’t do the 6 minute walk up the slight hill! At the start the aim was to just be able to do that without embarrassing myself in the way from from the primary school run come September.

I'm looking to lose 103lbs. It was 128lbs but I've already got rid of 25 of them! I'm currently following Slimming World.

Thanks for starting the new thread. I’ve had a very tough few days food wise - family wedding. Was great in all other respects! So back onto it today. I’m also restarting c25k tomorrow. I’ve done it before so am feeling good about restarting.

Lovely new thread, thank you Honeysuckle . Apologies i’m Out of the loop. A warm welcome to anyone new.

Weigh in this week had me a bit heavier than after my post op vomiting session but was happy to be at 105lbs loss, 5 lbs to go. However have felt rough again last couple of days as might have over done things and eaten loads so will probably gain this week and also I think I need to readjust target yet again probably and might do another 10 to 12 lbs possibly. My hip to waist ratio still a bit shit and I want to get off my blood pressure tablets.

Will be aiming for a pound or two a month and am happy to reach it by autumn next year for my 50th. Have noticed some of my loose skin slightly firming up again, it seems to go in fits and starts. My arse is less like the dog from the Churchill ad currently I think Grin

Impressed with the Shred Fezzes, my knees can’t take it ! There is some talk amongst a few of us about having a go at mini triathlon, I think we might be doing it which is slightly scary as I don’t think I can ride a bike any more, 10 miles sounds like a long way!

Ah crap, I forgot auto links don't work in OPs. Ah well, folks can copy and paste.

Hi Lola, welcome aboard! Congratulations on your loss so far.

I ate far too much today. Plan to do lots of walking tomorrow as we're at a tourist attraction (a castle) with the in laws. So will be turning on Strava and seeing how we do!

My sister is going to upgrade her Fitbit when the charge 3 is released so in a month or two I will have a charge 2 HR. Hoping that helps me track activity more accurately.

I can't believe I'm excited about getting a Fitbit. I used to avoid walking even for a few minutes!

Tracked you down! Had a staycation this week, thought I would gain loads but managed to lose a lb. That's brought me to 29lbs off in 14 weeks. Next goal is 33.3lbs as a third of the way there!

I would like to join if that's ok?

I have lost 1lb so far of the 100! I have kickstarted myself with a box of Boombod which has actually worked in that I feel less hungry. Only done 2 days mind!

I've got a milestone birthday in 16 months so I'd like to do it by then. Some of the weight losses here are inspirational and I need to remember that it IS possible.

Ask me what I'm wearing in a non dodgy way go on go on go on go on...
Thread: what are you wearing Magic?
Me: size 14 skinny jeans!!!!
I would turn cartwheels if I could. Another lb off in a mid-week sneaky look, so I am currently my lowest ever adult weight (I'm in my forties so there's unfortunately many years of comparison).

Someone on the end of the last thread asked if I saw myself any differently yet as they'd lost the same amount and were wondering. Sometimes, is the answer I guess. Like when one shoulder of an old t shirt keeps slipping off and a few hours later I finally clock that it's because it's too big now. A fab friend who hadn't seen me in a while went to give me a hug and left her arms in a loop not touching me "so much has gone!" that felt very strange.

It's 14 months and it does feel like progress now, and that the remaining stones are possible. I wouldn't have said that at the beginning.

Hi. Would love to join your group please. As you can see from my name I’m off to Mexico - am going October 2019. I’m using this as the catalyst to finally get the weight off.

I haven’t got a clue what I weigh, but wear size 22/24 clothes and would love to be a 14 for my holiday.

I’m not in the best of health and that combined with pure laziness has resulted in what I am today. I hate myself for it.

I started reading the first part of the thread yesterday and am looking forward to reading the rest.

May I join?
I've lost 4lb, 94 to go. Binging is my problem so I'm attempting mindful eating. Weighing in seems to trigger a binge so trying not to do it too often (risky strategy!)

I've had a couple of "off plan" days so need to be super good for the rest of the week. Eep.
