Calories - how many?

I’ve put on a stone since starting a new job in January - it has GOT to go.

Started calorie counting this week using MFP, currently on 1400 a day.

Has this worked for others?

What calorie amounts are you on?

Are you logging everything you eat and drink? My Fitness Pal is great for keepig you on track.

Yep, logging everything (except cups of tea!), which is really helping with portion sizes and have taken over the cooking as DH usually does it.

Got on the scales this morning, 1.2kg off! Woohoo!

Mine is 1550 cals a day on MFP - I’ve lost 2 stone 2lb since the end of April Smile

MFP is brilliant. I only do it for a while though. Just helps remind me to be mindful of what I'm eating.

Lots of water helps. When I'm working out Im on 1600 a day. When I was doing Insanity workouts I was on 2000 a day (that's alot of food) and was getting sick of eating ha.

I also find Intermittent Fasting works really well for me with very minimal effort. Less bloated, digestive system feels much better and I lose weight without having to adjust my eating that much. You can try and 16:8 or 14:10. Personally I prefer the 14:10. I sleep through most of it anyway 😄😄
