A Year To Change My Life

We've booked next year's holiday with some friends of ours. It coincides with my 40th year on earth and I'm absolutely determined to get myself looking and more importantly feeling great by then.
I'm posting here for accountability so if anyone wants to join the party, feel free.
I'm doing Herbalife as far as my nutrition goes, as it does work for me. However, I don't give a monkeys on how anyone else that wants to join this accountability thread wants to eat... just want to have a thread to post successes, setbacks and ideas to! Anyone with me?

I thought I was ok at a size 16 and felt ok in my self .until I saw the photos from a fun filled weekend away in Blackpool the rides safety bars dug into my belly and all I could focus on looking at the photos was my belly sticking out .the price of slimming world puts me off too but I need that support network to keep me going.

Ooh can I join?
I had a baby in June and put on an astronomical amount of weight both before and during the pregnancy.

I go back to work in just under a year and want to lose 5 stone (or as close as possible!) before then.

I'm in smile I knew I'd put on a bit of weight recently but after seeing some embarrassingly bad holiday snaps I weighed myself and I am completely horrified at how heavy I now am. My self esteem has taken a bit of a dive since.
I work in a very active outdoor job with a lot of much younger slimmer people and I'd like to not look completely out of place there by next summer!

My husband and I are going on a very belated honeymoon ( think 17 years but didn’t get one then ). Holiday will be child free. When I was in France this year I saw loads of people in swim suits. And was really jealous.

So. I have a year to loose three stone. So I can get a fake tan and wear a swim suit.

The holiday deposit has been paid already. And I am determined to get to as close to the 3 stone loss that I can.

Do you think that is doable?

I'd like to join. Even if it's just to see what I did in a year.

You know how people say they wish they had a magic wand that could just get rid of the weight? In a year's time we could have that. Those extra pounds could be gone.

So I'm going to wave my magic wand in one years time and see if it worked.

I’m back to swimming when the schools go back. My son is a teenager so doesn’t need looking after. But all those kids in the pool doesn’t make it good for swimming laps.

Thinking of going to a health club near me. You can pay £30 a month and use the pool from 7.30 till 5. Now it seems a lot. But if I went swimming three tones a week at my local pool that is nearly £15 a week!!!!

Also the other place is lovely. So I’m thinking if I have already paid for it I would have to go. ?

It's all possible xxxxwhen is your honeymoon ?I'm hoping I can lose a stone by Christmas that's my 1st target .daren't weigh myself .most of me weight is on my belly and I'm full busted so I look bigger because tops hang off my bust and give me a bigger belly lol .

I'm with you! As username shows, it's one year to a milestone birthday for me, and I am determined that this will be my last year of being fat.

I'm very unfit, lazy with zero willpower, and have been dieting unsuccessfully now for almost 20 years.

Today I have walked 5,000 steps. I have joined MFP.
I have begun! Good luck to you too, boddtm.
