Starting again for the last time 1st August, anyone with me?

Hi

I keep 'starting again' on my weight loss journey. Have been 'starting again' since 1st Jan 18.

Haven't gained since then but haven't lost anything either! I turn 40 at the end of May 2019 and have about 50lb to lose before then.

Will sign up to weight watchers online and weigh in tomorrow morning. This will be my last 'start again' as this time I WILL DO THIS!!

Anyone want to join me? Don't mind what plan you are following, would just like some friends with a similar amount to lose to keep me company.

Hi I will join you, I have been signed up to ww on and off since my ds2 was born in June 17, I have lost 3 st but more through body going back to normal than any great effort and I have 1st to go. It’s the same stone I have been trying to get rid of on and off since 2015 when we let a baby at about 14 weeks so had already started gaining weight and then we had another loss with weight gain before we had our ds. So after being pregnant on and off for almost 3 years I want to get back to normal (it’s just a same normal was super fit and 8st 4 😂). Hopefully this time it will work and I will stick to it x x

Hi loz

Phew glad I have a friend! My youngest turned 5 last week - I am currently only about 5lb lighter than immediately after having him. I am my heaviest ever Blush I can't use having him as an excuse anymore!

I'll join in too. My youngest is also five and I'm actually heavier than just after I had her. I have, realistically, about 5.5 stone to lose, possibly more. I re-joined WW on Saturday. I lose weight painfully slowly, so I have given myself two years to do this, instead of my usual, 'I'll be four stone down by Christmas,' that invariably ends in failure.

Welcome daisy

My problem is I do well for a week or two then feel disheartened as I am not yet at goal Blush I expect immediate results and need to slow me expectations down!!

I’m glad it’s not just me, I went to a lacrosse session at ds1’s school a couple of weeks ago and blamed just having a baby for not being able to run - he had just turned 1 the week before 😳. I hope we can do this although I am struggling with the new way of doing ww I seem to eat all my points by breakfast this isn’t going to be helped by ds1 turning 8 at the weekend and going to the seaside for a week soon 🙄

Ill join. I have around 6 stone to lose. My youngest turns 3 tomorrow! (So i will officially start on the second as i will be eating birthday cake!) I put on 7st when i was pregnant with him (severe SPD left me unable to move at all, and severe nausea which was only cured by eating...bad combination!) And ive still not shifted the weight.

Im not dping WW, as i cant really afford it. Although i do have a lovely PT friend who has set up exercises for me for free. Im going to calorie count with my fitness pal, and hopefully once my bosses arm is better, we are starting pilates together, which will helo strengthen my core which is still weak from the SPD

I'm in! I'll be calorie counting and using the NHS 12 week plan. My youngest is 2 and the time has come to sort myself out. I want to look fab for the works xmas party. 19 weeks to go!! 😬. Weigh in tomorrow morning. I'll be aiming for 10,000 steps a day on my Fitbit too.

Ooh lovely some more friends Grin

Welcome everyone!

Feeling excited to get started now!

My fitness levels are shocking too but have hyper mobile joints and was warned by physio and podiatry to be wary exercising whilst carrying excess weight as I trigger an injury Sad I work term time only and have 2 hours after dropping kids off at school before starting work. So my plan is in September, once we are all back into usual routine, will be to sign up with local leisure centre and swim before work 3 days a week. Until then I will aim for 7500 steps a day on fit bit which I will struggle with during the lazy holidays so will be doing a bit of dancing in the kitchen whilst doing the daily jobs Wink

Flamingo I quite often have to do a bit of dancing or marching infringe if the tv to get my steps in for the day. Definitely makes you more aware of staying active.

I'm restarting today too!

I've lost two stone in the last few months, but have messed up badly in July, and ate 4 chocolate bars yesterday ShockShockShock

I am 15 stone exactly this morning, and have had apples for breakfast!

So I weighed this morning 😫. Just under 15st. I'm calorie counting. Range is roughly 1600-2100 cals a day so I think I'll aim for 1700. Fit bit is on and aiming for 10,000 steps today. Should be ok running around after the kids.

Lets do this!!

Feeling quite positive this time, I need to change and that will hopefully drive me on.

Not much planned today as had a mental week and a bit since breaking up from school.

I'm too embarrassed to put my weight on here. I'm in Ireland so kids have been off since the end of June, I work term time so I'm here with them and trying not to eat. Trying to find my fitbit so I can start moving again. Herroyal I had awful SPD too and still have problems as a result so never shifted the weight after the last baby.

Ok count me in... I have started several threads about starting over and have failed miserably. I am 16 stone which is the heaviest I have been. I need to loose 6 stone to get down to my pre pregnancy weight.

I turn 29 on the 15th this month and my DD is turning 2 in september so i have no excuse really. I just have a sweet tooth and i am awfully greedy. Alas the time has come to change my indulgent ways so I can look and feel smokin' by my 30th birthday. I have a training session with the PT on friday so I am hoping that helps a bit too.

daisy it sucks doesnt it? Ive actually been advised not to have any more children because of the risk of more serious permanent damage. (Not that i want more anyway! 3 is enough thanks Wink)

Party today, although ive not been as bad as expecyed. Only one plate of party food, a bowl of jelly and ice cream and a small piece of cake.

Im 16st too. So i definitely need to do something.

minimalist i turn 27 on the 10th.
