How to slim up in 3 weeks??

Mummi2017 · 27/07/2018 10:01

Hello everyone,

I am looking for advice about loosing the baby weight I still have after 7 months. Basically my relative said I wouldn’t loose the baby weight so I can’t be a bridesmaid at her wedding which before I was pregnant she was happy for me to be one of her bridesmaids. I need to slim up to prove her wrong and to feel better about myself. Any recommendations???

Your relative sounds awful, sorry to say.

I know that’s why I wanna get fit, just to prove you can still look good whilst being a mum

low carb or 16/8 seem to work for many. Drinking 2l of water or more, buy one of those water bottles with times on the side, get rid of all temptation in the house. Friends have tried slimming world and seen great results too

I am shocked at your friends attitude and I am more shocked that you haven't told her to swivel!
Sure, exercise and it to lose baby weight but not because someone is emotionally blackmailing you!

Hi, so 16 8 is when you only eat over an 8hr period, so say 12 till 8. You effectively eat less.

I’m doing exante which is basically 600 calories a day in shake form! I’m only doing it for 3 weeks (one week in so far) and then I’m going to stop and move on to low carb because it’s quite hard. I’m hoping 3 weeks will be enough to lose my remaining baby weight. I’m also hoping it’s going to reset my habits and I’ll stop reaching for carbs everytime something remotely stressful happens!

They said what? You can get thin but they can't stop having a cold dead heart. You aren't going to actually be their bridesmaid if you lose the weight are you?

Hell yeah everyone was shocked and she couldn’t stop complimenting my outfit and size. I did the mum warrior thing on Facebook and got down to 9 stone

I do team RH, I never feel hungry and have lost weight. It does take a lot of weighing of foods but it’s so worth it as it has opened my eyes as to how much fat I was eating before!!!

Oh and when you do lose the weight, you should totally turn down the offer of being a bridesmaid and turn up in a gorgeous dress looking super fit!

Wow! That's still ridiculously quick.

What did you do?

Report
Mummi2017 · 06/09/2018 16:05

Literally replaced everything like crisps for health alternative and ate 1,200 calories a day. Done 30 minutes exercise morning and night, 6 out of 7 days. That’s it

Mummi that's brilliant, well done. Just goes to show that restricting calories makes all the difference. Excercise on top increases the calorie deficit even further of course. These fad diets are a lot of rubbish IMO :)

Well definitely agree with you I’ve tried all sorts of other diets and spent so much on weight loss products. A calorie controlled diet seems to be the best diet plan
