How did you know when to stop losing?

I realise that probably seems a stupid question as we all have an idea in our heads of where we want to be but how did you know when you got there?

I only ask as I've always been big (I was 11st at 12 years old) so my self image is a bit skewed nowadays! I'm 5ft 3ins and have gone from 17st 11.5lbs to 11st 6.5lbs mostly following Slimming World, my original target was 10.12.

I can feel the difference in my health (I can tie my shoes laces and breath at the same time which is an achievement!) and can see the clothes sizes going down but I still feel and see myself as bigger so I'm trying to lower my target without overdoing it.

I doubt I'll ever be 100% comfortable in myself as now I'm hung up on loose skin, I don't trust the whole BMI system so not going with that. I just want to be healthy!

I found it hard to get to my final PAT with my last 7lb. So I decided to stop then as it was messing with my head. I like the fact that I have bought clothes in March that still fit me and I like my wardrobe.

I lost weight in 2005 and struggled to maintain at the target range. This time I've been at target (in the 6lb SW allow) for 17 weeks. But I've noticed I've lost inches again.

Wow, well done for maintaing! I am imagining that will be the hardest part.

I've got 8.5lbs to go but reckon it will take a while to get there, we have our first family holiday abroad in 10 weeks so ideally I'd like to get there for then but I'm trying not to get too hung up on it. Just want to be comfortable with myself!
