None of my clothes fit. I feel crappy. Stomach looks awful.

So today is day 1 of proper healthy living.

I will write a food diary and report back on exercise. Please join me so we can help each other!

Day 1 breakfast:
1 x Weetabix
Handful of blueberries
Cup of tea

I'm going to the gym this afternoon. ( It is air conditioned )

10 mins on the cross trainer
5 min row
3 sets of 15 reps squats
3 sets of 15 reps stepping up and down
3 sets of 15 reps 2kg free weights on arms

Tomorrow I'll do different stuff.

Hi Rainbow can I join tomorrow ? Grin

I am going to be doing Paleo-ish as I'm struggling with bloating and thyroid issues.

Gentle exercise the way forward apparently, so been doing yoga and walking.

My weaknesses are many: hot chocolate, biscuits, cake, bread Hmm

Hello MrsJonesandme! Glad I have a diet buddy.

Breakfast today: 2 slices of toast with jam and butter
Lunch: home made couscous salad with veggies and Feta, apple, yoghurt

It's 2pm and I'm hungry already but no opportunity for snacking so I'll just sip water.

Dinner will be pasta with low fat creamy mushroom sauce and Broccoli.

Gym later- no thigh work today! Walking down stairs is sore after yesterday.

Alcohol is my downfall as I crave stodge. I love sweet things but have just done a healthy shop so minimal temptation.

Are you aiming for no snacking? I eat pretty much all day long [bush]

Well I've done OK so far too, but evenings are the biggest downfall - feel like I should get a reward for surviving the day Grin

over the morning: blueberries, grapes, cashews, pumpkin seeds, green tea,

lunch: chicken salad (roast chicken, beetroot, lettuce, spinach leaves, pepper, tomato, cucumber + dressing)

tea: carrot spaghetti (was meant to be courgetti, bloody Tesco) with pesto, mushroom, tomatoes and bacon

snack later: macadamia nuts, almonds, raisins

Need to make time for yoga - life has been too hectic the last few days!

I don't snack much but I have plastic invisalign braces on my teeth so taking them out to eat is a hassle- have to brush teeth afterwards etc. So that's a deterrent from snacking... God help me when I've finished with them though! Your snacks are very healthy.

I was tending to overeat at meal times so I've cut my portion sizes right down.

Breakfast today: one slice of toast with butter, berries and low fat yoghurt
Lunch: cold chicken with salad and coleslaw, fab lolly

Aiming for lots of walking today.

It's only day 2 - my normal diet would look nothing like this - it would be Costa and biscuits and crisps Blush

I did a de-stress yoga video last night which was really relaxing.

Lots of water, good nourishing food and a bit of walking/fresh air.

Ah...dd has braces and retainers poor kid - a right pain!

After birth, my weight has increased significantly, I started to worry about it. When my daughter was 2 months old I started to run. at first I ran myself, and my daughter was with my mother, but a month later I was advised to use a stroller to run with a child. I have reviewed many options and in one article trigearlab.com/best-jogging-stroller/ i read about the Joovy Zoom 360 Ultralight Jogging Stroller. The stroller is very light, comfortable and not expensive. I started running with my daughter. Now my training has become a walk for my daughter. I turned to form for 3 months running.

I would like to join.

I’m a shift worker which really messes with my eating habits! And post break up would like to lose 10 pounds as a sort my life out thing!

My aim really is just to eat normal meals opposed to graze. Not even bothered if they are super healthy; to start with just actual meals is great ha!

I’m on nights today and have just gotten up.

Will have a ham and cheese sarnie, crisps and grapes on the way to work.

Have a veggie lasagne ready meal and a peach for my meal break.

Think I will treat myself to a punnet of strawberries and a cappuccino (for the drive as I’ve run out of tea bags!) to nibble on as nights can make me munchy.

Will ride the horse before bed so will take something to eat after work incase I’m hungry. Prob a peanut butter sarnie or something. My biggest problem is lack of time on work days which means I tend to have to eat on the go!

Good for you simova my baby is 6 though, so doubt he'd want me to do that Wink

Hi Lexicon shifts are the pits! I did earlies and lates in a previous life, but never nights - thank goodness. Hope your shift goes well and lucky you to have a horse for exercise! Amazing animals.

I bought DS an ice cream this afternoon and didn't have one and watched the boys eat cake. I've got a (small) bowl of nuts and raisins Halo and yoga done too.

Hello all, still going strong. Had a GF brownie and half a smoothie while out with friends this morning, so not too bad and still didn't look like I was really doing anything different.

Walked a couple of miles and will aim for yoga again tonight. Tomorrow is going to be a super busy awkward day, so will need to think about what to do for tea...

Hi ladies, can I join?

Tomorrow is the first day of me sorting my life out. I’m 28, have a 2 year old and have got about 4 stone to lose. My scales are broken but I know from a recent doctor appointment that my bmi is 30 which for my height is just in the morbidly obese bracket! I’m a size 14, creeping into a 16 which has really motivated me to lose some weight. I also had 2 miscarriages in the last 6 months. 1 at 6 weeks and 1 at 11 weeks. I know this isn’t because of my weight but I think the healthier I am the better.

So currently I mainly eat crisps and chocolate/sweets all day other than my evening meal. Evening meal is usually a balanced home cooked meal as we eat dinner with our son. I hate salad but do enjoy vegetables and fruit, but it is expensive to keep buying enough fruit for me and my son all week and we are on such a tight budget. But I’ll be saving money on unhealthy snacks so can definitely make a change.

I’ve found a little work out routine I can do at home (can’t afford the gym) and can also start the couch25k in the evenings when OH is home from work.

I’m nervous, I’ve been putting off actually starting for ages, but I did weight watchers last year and lost almost 2 stone in 8 weeks so I know I can do it. Tomorrow is the day!!!

Love the name Tits Grin

If you have a supermarket like Alid or Lidl, they tend to do a super 6 that's super cheap. If you don't like salad, maybe soup?

Hello foreverlexicon , amaksimova and titsalinabumsquat. Glad to have you joining us!

Today's breakfast:
1 x Weetabix (was in a rush)

Lunch:
Couscous salad, corner yoghurt, apple

Dinner:
Pork bbq steak, potato salad and red cabbage
Small piece of ginger cake

I'm doing well with portion control and drinking loads of water. Was at work today so lots of dashing around (I'm a teacher) but having a rest night with no gym. May swim tomorrow.

Foreverlexicon shift work must be tricky with eating at odd times. Before starting this I hated feeling hungry and would panic eat but actually, I'm getting used to it and it's ok to feel empty before a meal. Sizing water helps.

Lots of strong willpower here. Keep it up everyone!

Oh petals, the heat is awfully hard work. I've got my period starting which always turn me into a carb monster. So tomorrow I will have to be extra vigilant.

Not enough water here either.

Breakfast today: one teacake with butter
Lunch: sandwich, avocado, melon, yoghurt
Snack: 2 soleros oops! But they are 98 calories each so not too bad. They were lush.

Can't be bothered with gym today, I've done energetic housework and will go for a walk in the evening when it cools down. Feel like sitting around doing nothing.

We were out for most of the day today and apart from a Magnum, I have been super strict. 7 days done, so scales tomorrow morning to see what's going on.

How is everyone else doing? Meant to be the last super hot day tomorrow before a bit of cooler weather phew

"only" 0.2kg off, but I'm on my period and instead of going that it's not working, I have stuck to things. It's not just about weight, but about health!

Anyone else with an update?
