What weight is a size 10 at 5'4"

I recently bought a dress in an American size 8 thinking it would fit a size 12 uk.
Sadly not.
I am in the high 10 stone mark after losing a stone and was pleased to be 12. So how much more to lose before being a size 10?
The measurements are 36,28,38 that I only found out afterwards. I am currently 37,32,38. Think it's doable and how long?
I have never ever been a size 10 and even playing competing sport I was 10 stone never in the 9's.

I am 5ft4 and 9st9lbs. I wear a size 10 in fitted dresses but can sometimes wear an 8 if it's A-line (as I have a small chest but big hips).

It depends on the individual and their body shape, as demonstrated by every “if you are are X feet high and Y dress size, what do you weigh?’ thread that has ever been on MN. As well as how much room you like in your clothes and where you shop.

I am narrow framed with long limbs and leanly built. Not much muscle mass, small feet & hands and small joints, but i’m tallish (i’m an ‘ectomorph’ in body shape terms). So I always tend to come out at the lower end of the spectrum. However, if I put on a bit of weight, I can quickly climb the dress size ladder and a weight that is a 10 on one person of the same height, might be a 12/14 on me. Women’s bodies are pretty amazing like that.

I’d be about 10 stone at size 10

I'm 5ft 3 and weigh 8.5 stone and a size 8, when I was a size 10 I was around 9.5 stone but I'm an inch shorter than you if that's anything to go by.

Every manufacturer is different add in cut/style and that complicates things even more.
A trapeze dress will fit a more ample tum and hip than a sheath dress.

OP, I’m a 10 in most shops at 9st4lbs - I’m the same height as you.

I’m 5 feet 4 and usually a size 12. I weigh 9 stone 12 lb. sizes change with the shop!
I’ve had two babies and my tummy’s around for the duration I think now! I’m an hourglass apart from the tummy.

I'm 5ft 4 and size 10/12 depending on the clothes. I'm bang on 10 stone.

Crikes!
(Obviously I know it also depends on body type hence the measurements.)
Slightly worried by 9 stone 4! Cheered up by 10 stone which is doable.

What size chest and waist are the people at a size 10. I always thought a 36 inch chest was a 12 not a 10 ? Watto1 are you a 36 chest if you don't mind me asking?

I'm shorter and heavier than my friend yet I'm a size smaller than her. I think it's all about body shape.

It is impossible to say, I am 5ft 4, weight 11st 6lbs and easily fit a 12 sometimes a 10, depending on the shop.
I am very fit and run a lot.. Maybe I am heavy due to muscle??

I'm 5'3 and have never fitted into a size 10. The slimmest I've been was about 9.5 stone, many years ago, and I was size 12/14/16 depending on the shop and fit.

I would have said about 9 stone to be a size 10 at this height and even then not fit into it in some shops and perhaps not look particularly flattering in many styles. Sorry, but remember no-one knows or cares what size clothes you are wearing about from yourself, so try everything on and pick the size and style that you look and feel great in.

I'm 34E in the chest department. It's chest-wise I'm sometimes a 12 but 10 in trousers.

I'm 5ft4 size 10 and weigh 9 stone exactly

Around the 10st mark for tops and dresses. Anything above that and I'm a size 12.

No way I could get into size 10 jeans without dropping down to about 9.5st and that's never going to happen unless I go back in time to being 23.

5'4"

Have been up and down over the last decade. I'm sporty of figure (Michelle Rodriguez figure but lazy and like wine and bread and potatoes and chocolate so even when I at one point managed to get down to 7st 6 and got the Audrey Hepburn 24 " waist I was chasing, I still had a curved lower belly...so I'd recommend learning to love the bits that won't budge, cos they might.not.ever.budge)

9st 2 - 9st 8 true size 10, 36A/B, waist 29-30", Hips 37-38"
8st 4-8st 8 true size 8, 34A, waist 26", Hips 36"
7st 9-12 size 6-8 34 AA waist 25", Hips 35"
Current weight: denial/afraid to find out.

I’m 5’4 and 9 stone 7 and I wear a 10 in most shops. I’m quite an athletic build (30E, 27 waist, 36 hips).

I am 5'4 and was a size 12 (old sizes) up to about 9 stone. Over that, a 14 to about 9 and half, and a 16 over 10 stone.
Now I am over 12 stone and an 18 ( modern sizes).

@DelphiniumBlue. Snap of sorts. 15 years ago I weighed 8 stone 7 and was a size 10...
