I’m feeling pretty low, I’ve been out shopping both days this weekend trying to find some clothes for a beach holiday in 20days time, and hardly got anything mainly due to the fact I’ve had to look at myself in changing room mirrors. I’ve gone up a size and really feel pretty low.
I’ve always been fairly lucky with my weight apart from once after a messy breakup, and after just weighing myself I’ve realised I’m the same weight.
The gain has been slow over a long period, I was actually two sizes smaller at my happiest, but seems to be gaining momentum.
I look pregnant which is heart breaking as I can’t have children
Can someone tell me the quickest way to lose weight? Happy to do something sensible when I’m back from holiday but want to shift some fat in the next twenty days.
I’ve never really dieted, I’ve literally no idea really.
The quickest way to drop a few pounds is to low carb. So don’t eat any bread, pasta, rice, sugar, wheat or other grains.
Eat mostly chicken, fish, lean meat, eggs and vegetables. Try to avoid potatoes too and drink lots of water.
There’s a low carb section on mumsnet and if you google low carb recipes, you’ll find lots.
Agree with Daykay - in 20 days of lowcarbing you could look and feel a lot leaner if you stick to it. You can have fat as your fuel so you can have lovey things like steak with a creamy mushroom sauce and buttery spinach. Good luck.
