Thanks for the new thread BOOP - that picture could be my niece, never saw a chubbier bubba! (She's stick thin and super-fit now. 😊)

last that's fantastic when you look back - Well done!

I am starting the month at 10st 13lbs - 6lb lost last month, my highest ever monthly total! I saw 7lb last weekend but the alcohol has done it in. 3lb till my first target which has been dangling tantalisingly out of reach for over a year.

I am soooo stuck. I really need to get back to losing, because I still have about 2st to go before I'm in the "normal weight" category. So annoying - I've been bobbing about around the same few lbs for weeks and weeks.

I weighed the other day at 13st 5 and my immediate goal is to get under 13st please!

If I could just lose a couple of lbs this week, though, that would be great because I have a lovely dress I'd like to fit into just that little bit better around the ribcage.

Pony I think you and I are diet twins - except that you've finally broken the spell and started losing again. What gave you the new impetus? I'm desperate to get going again

Checking in for June!

Starting weight 12st 6.3, which I'm thrilled about - that's pretty much pre-holiday weight! I don't seem to have paid for last night's wine and risotto on my girl's night out yet, we'll see what tomorrow holds - and whether my diet resolve can stand up to today's challenge of parenting a 3 year old whilst nursing a minor hangoverBlush

BSD on weekdays BOOP - 800 calories (more like 900cals). Hoping I haven't already reached a plateau though!

I thought it might be something hardcore like that pony. What do you do on weekends?

I just can't get my head there

Hi, I would like to lose half a stone in June please. I lost 24lbs last summer then plateaued when it started to get cold, then gained 8lbs from January when I went back to work. Sigh.

Low carbing for me - it's worked very well in the past and it means I don't feel hungry or deprived.

Morning, this is going to be my first proper month since February, as noted on the previous thread even though I have eaten much much pick and mix, and pizza, and pastry, and toast and wine (I could go on) since then I have in fact only gained 3lbs (after 2 fast days this week)

Hoping for another good month to get me back to my lowest, as I have a trip booked in August that I can focus on.

Pony Girl I had that issue with BSD for a bit - it is because the amount going in is sooo low I used this glam product to fix the issue. It is a bulking fibre supplement that will push through the gut and keep you regular. I take it in a smoothie or juice and it isn't that noticeable.

Happy June everyone. Thanks for the new thread Boop. Love that pic.

Weighed in a t 122.8lb this morning. Hopeing to double last months 2.4 loss and get down to 119 in June. My first target. Just going to keep on with the calorie counting and aim for a 700 cal deficit in the week and maintenance at the weekend.

Thinking of switching my usual porridge for half a grapefruit for the summer, but as that won't be enough any ideas what to eat with said grapefruit that's low cal and will keep me full until lunch?

Morning all, thanks for the new thread BOOP! Welcome MrPeevly and MuddyForestWalks, or "Muddy Forestalks" as BOOP has rechristened you, which I really rather like Grin

Hairspray I was bemused by your advice to pony there, I thought you must have developed powers of telepathy until I checked the old thread... Shock

I know she hasn't checked in yet but saw your post on the May thread @Fatball, don't give up! Come and let us help. These plateaus are so frustrating but surprisingly common, we'll hold your hand through it. A couple of days of going MAD on the water and maybe trying to ram in an insane step count day has been known to get things moving. My advice is to try a Fast Day to kickstart, but it's not for everyone.

I've just had a disastrous weigh-in. In spite of a great three days, I'm seven hundred grams up on last week's weight! It happens sometimes. It's so bloody annoying though. At the start of May, my 5-day blowout + 3 golden days evened out to only 300g up, and this is only a 4 day blowout + 3 GDs. Bah.

Next week is shot too with a friend's birthday mid-week so my weigh-in will be pretty meaningless, but the week after will be Golden as all hell so I'll hope for at least a STS!

It's all so booooorrrriiiiiing...

My first first of the month post for a wee while

Starting this month off at 12st 2 and very keen to see 11s again in the mornings

Start of 10k steps a day month at work so hopefully that will help but better midweek eating is what I need.

Last night I came in from an hour of cardio tennis (not high cardio last night) and 45 mins of badminton so I reckon I burned 500-700 calories. I then proceeded to eat most of that back standing at my open fridge door and eating coronation chicken sandwich filler, slices of ham and grapes ...then I had a shower and had dinner and dessert....something has to changeBlush

Hello Linda losers, reporting for duty in the June thread!
I've lost 4lbs this month, delighted with that and hope to do the same in June. I can see a difference in my figure already but my new-post-baby-problem area, aka my wobbly tummy is well and truly still there. It's not jiggling as much when I walk down the stairs so I'll take that as a NSV Blush

TV the post-sport snack attack is a killer! My advice would be to eat dinner straight away when you get in. What sort of dinners do you have? Is it something you could have more or less prepped, or even ready (i.e. something in the slow cooker)? If you can have it prepped in advance, you could get in, sling it in the oven and shower whilst it's cooking. Sometimes it helps to talk out loud to yourself Grin i.e. as you're coming in the house, say "dinner in oven and then shower, dinner in oven and then shower, NO SNACKING, dinner in oven and then shower" or whatever your plan for the evening is.

Works for me, anyway Blush

I think I quite like DP working every other weekend, it means we don't make plans all the time, so I can keep a better control of what is going in my mouth!

Oh and 9st9 again this morning, not sure what I am having for tea, DP wants pasta, and that is obviously not a good choice for me!

Marking place. I'll be back this evening with a major June motivation plan and plenty of arse kicking all round.

June is the month. I go away for 3.5 weeks on 1st July and I want to start my holiday at 10 7. I was 10 11 this morning so it's not that far awayGrin

Can't believe it's June already though Confused

I could be a muddy fore stalk :)

I am Alternate Day Fasting, but allowing myself 700 - 800 cal on a fast day because, despite DS being 15 months old, I am still breastfeeding quite a bit and dealing with night wakings Hmm so a 500cal day is impossible. Also trying to have a small calorie deficit on the non fasting days, but as my TDEE is high (I'm 5'8", 13st 1) it means I can have around 1800 cal on those days, which leaves a little wiggle room for small treats if I'm sensible.

Also doing Dry June, as my alcohol intake was creeping up a bit.

I was up until 4am drinking, eating and drinking and eating more. (Even had a cigShockBlush) Because of this, at 7am this morning I had to have a coffee with creamer and sweetener with a biscuit and then a bottle of lucozade to make myself feel human again. So the diet got a bit messed up but I'm straight on the June thread so will be continuing the 800 cal days as of tomorrow. Today is for bacon buttys and leftover pizza. And bribing DC with the iPad to keep quiet and bring me snacks.

I rarely drink, but never get hangovers, just really fekin tired and hungry. Ah well, it was a good night.

Welcome all newbies. You're already doing better in June than I am Grin
