Juice Plus Reviews

A family member keeps sharing his daughters Facebook status all about weight loss etc so I've messaged her today and it's juice plus that she sells/promotes.. whatever!

Has anybody used it?

Is it any good?

Does it help with weight loss?

I'm just abit dubious that's all about trying it🙈

It’s an MLM, it probably ‘works’ the same as slimfast/SW/WW etc. in that you’re severely restricting calories. No way is it healthy and they will try and get you to join their ‘team’ and recruit others as that is the only way their ‘consultants’ (who have zero training/qualifications in nutrition/weight loss) can make money. Read Elle Beau blog or MLM Police on Facebook.

Juice plus doesn't work any better for weightloss than consuming the same restricted number of calories from a much less expensive source.

The reviews are mainly from people who are trying to big up the product themselves because they have been recruited into the multi-level marketing scam and they can only make their initial (probably wasted) investment back if they succeed in scamming others into it.

Whilst it probably does genuinely "work" for some, they would have got the same results without the same expense elsewhere.

@MissCharleyP How does slimming world severely restrict calories like juice plus?

Using shakes to replace meals will help in the short term but it isn't a long term solution and the weight will go back on.

crazycat Sorry, I’ve just read that back and realised what it looks like. I meant that they all create a calorie deficit (some more extreme than others) so you will lose weight but the extreme options are not the healthiest way. Any calorie deficit will help with weight loss, but most extremely restricted diets fail as when you eat ‘normally’ the weight goes back on. I didn’t mean to imply SW/WW were the same as JP. Slimfast, I’d say is extreme and unsustainable (definitely for me - I need solids!), but at least don’t ask you to recruit and share mindless tripe on social media!

Thank you! It's my best friends wedding next year and need to shift some weight!

I'm such a fussy eater and I don't eat what I should and blah blah blah..

But thanks for all the advice
