It's probably just another gimmick but I am getting desperate now.

I'd be interested to hear people's opinions and results.

Also wondering the same - I saw an online assessment saying the main ingredient is a well known and safe appetite suppressant and sold out on Holland and Barrett so not too bad?

Don’t suppose it’s a miracle worker though, we still have to eat less!

I've just ordered some Blush

All the reviews seem to be from skinny people. The photos don't start with a size 20 and show the results. I haven't seen how much people actually loose either. Because Holland & Barrett sell it I think it must be safe.

I have just ordered some. Really struggling to lose my last stone so thought I'd give it a try, gimmick or not. I'm not expecting miracles, but I've been stuck at the same weight for the past 8 weeks.

Oh, and I got a second box for free when ordering off the Boombod website.

I'd love it to work but it has been round for a long time under different brand names and when investigated clinically the evidence is variable. This paper found no effect and most of the other evidence is provided by people making money from it
If you find it works though, please let me know and I'll be in the queue Grin

My daughter's just ordered some of this as she has recently gained a fair bit of weight and is desperately trying to lose it.

I'm also actively losing weight and doing it the old fashioned way because I'm afraid I just don't believe in all these quick fixes. If it were that simple there would be no overweight people, and products like these would be prescribed on the NHS because obesity and related conditions and illnesses cost the NHS millions.

I'm not going to tell her not to buy it - her money, her choice and who knows maybe there is some miracle product out there that magically stops you wanting to eat and melts away the pounds.

I’ve just ordered it. I’ve put on a stone in the past few months and want to lose it for the summer so just kick starting the process with this.

Look forward to hearing how people get on!

I’m eyeing up the packets of forza I have in be cupboard that never resulted in any miraculous weight loss, and the skinny coffee - ditto. That said, these things can be a useful motivator ‘today, I’m starting this’ but 5:2 actually saves you money and probably works better

Thinking of trying Phentatrim after reading that that is better, but £39 a bottle 😵

Whats in it. I keep seeing adverts for it and am tempted.

Belindabelle, from the Holland and Barrett website;

- Quick & tasty way to lose weight without feeling hungry.

  • 10 calories per sachet
  • Source of the natural fibre glucomannan which is clinically proven to aid weight loss

Boombod sachets contain a quality source of the natural fibre glucomannan that reduces appetite, helps cleanse & decreases bloating.

For an extra boost all three sachets each contain their own unique vitamin blend that helps with energy & metabolism, reduces fatigue and maintains hair & skin. Simply mix the sachets with water to make tasty 10 calorie blackcurrant shots.

I don't believe that it's a miracle cure, but I am hoping that it will help provide a kick start towards losing the last bit of weight.

Boombod is £32 inc postage for 2 weeks worth if you buy it on their website, phentatrim is £39 for 30 days so on reflection that might be the best bet??

Joining in - I’ve just ordered from their website. I’m not completely convinced but I’m hoping it will ignite some discipline to help me lose my bloaty tum 😩

I am going to resist for now as i am supposed to be following the BSD diet so I want to give that a chance. I would really appreciate if you could come back and let us know how you get on with it. Good Luck.

I'm trying to eat more healthily, but have already ordered these to try (still waiting for them to arrive). I decided to try them because of this: "unique vitamin blend that helps with energy & metabolism, reduces fatigue and maintains hair & skin".
Currently 5'3" & a size 22/24 - will let you know if it has any effect at all.

My order is arriving today Grin - will start on Monday. Am feeling pretty hacked off as been doing 10:14, MFP and ran a half marathon on Sunday. I have lost nothing this week Shock

Just cracked and bought it in h&b on bogof - had first shot! Temperatures rising here and unexpected work trip looming in 2 weeks so half a stone has to go so I can get into my summer stuff!

Mine is also arriving today
Can’t wait to try it

ShirleyPhallus · 05/05/2018 12:27

Mine arrived and I’m 2 days in. So far, I actually think they’re great

Morning shot is really energising to the point of making me feel a bit giddy and drunk

They really do fill you up - you can sort of feel the liquid turning in to a gel and expanding as you drink.

I think they would be great actually on the 5:2 diet to help you on the 2 days because they’re definitely an appetite suppressant but no good in the long term - they’d absolutely fuck your metabolism

EinsteinsArousedSausagesHCB · 05/05/2018 12:41

Sounds positive Shirley, mine arrived yesterday afternoon but I'm planning on starting them tomorrow.

Sounds promising- do you think you are eating less as a result?

hubblebubbleworry · 05/05/2018 15:47

Second day here and definitely eating less, agree they’d be great for 5:2 support, that’s a good comment.

I’m definitely not as bloated
