I need to lose three stone... My cunning plan to lose the two stone over the winter was scuppered by me putting on another one.
So does anyone fancy a healthy eating thread? Sensible and no sugar and crap?
Or does anyone have time to follow me around prising the rubbish I'm about to consume out of my mouth?
The plan is to eat really well then at the weekend have one reasonable treat. I'm going to eat carbs but small amounts early in the day and only wholegrain or brown rice.
I'm just going to start with a stone and then see how it goes.

Excellent.
I'm going to make a ton of soup.
Still can't believe what a Muppet I am.

I started about 3 weeks ago.

I need to loose about 3.5 stone, 3weeks in I've lost 1.5 stone Grin

Every morning instead of my usual coffee, I have hot water with a wedge of lemon, with porridge.

Lunch usually wholemeal pittas with home made hommous.

Tea is mostly home made soup.

I'm also doing the 30 day shred.
30 day ab challenge.
30 day bum challenge.
And walking 10,000 steps a day.
And making sure I drink loads of water.

The hot water and lemon really really does work, it's horrible at first, but it makes you feel fuller for longer and seems to clear me out.

Can I join please? 2 stone to lose. Went clothes shopping on Friday and had to gasp when I realised just how flabby I've become. Was once a size 8, now nearly a 14. Sad just can't stop gorging on crap so some moral support would be great!

I'm trying hard this week

Just feel bloated as I'm over eating before my marathon next weekend! I need good nutrition so I'm having a stern word!

Excellent excellent. We are going to vanish by July. Buckbeak that is really impressive.
I'm going for porridge with grated apple for breakfast and some veggie soup for lunch.
Tonight I'm having vegetable chilli with s big dollop of fat free Greek yogurt.

Plan is overnight oats, berries and a few sunflower seeds for breakfast. Small salad and apple for lunch.
Will need to pick up something healthy ish from M&S to eat on the go for dinner as I'm not at home tonight until late.
Have some strawberries and a mixed bean "salad" for snacks.

Snacks are definitely my downfall, so lots of water to combat hunger between meals.

Good luck everyone.

Grapefruit first thing is a great fat burner and boosts your metabolism for the day so I'm told although I'm struggling to eat it atm

Overnight oats here, with low fat coconut yogurt, lush! Then sweet potato, butternut squash and chilli soup for lunch and omelette for tea. Just need to keep out of the biscuits 😏

Oh shit I knew there was something I meant to do....I'm in - although my motivation is zero for some reason.

I exercise loads to plan to keep that up. Eggs, spinach and a small granary slice for brekkie.
Lean protein (quorn or chicken or fish) for lunch.
Normal-ish tea (spag bol made with 5% fat mince and loads of veggies, steak, chicken stir fry etc).

It's the snacking that scuppers me every time.. Jeez who the fuck filled my cupboards with crisps and chocolate?

Overnight oats sound like a really good plan.
Confusedandemployed you can’t be worse than me... I am useless.
Still no one offering to follow me around and smack the food out of my hand.

I love this thread and will be joining you. I have absent-mindedly put on weight - it must be someone else's fault - and need to lose a load of chunk.

I'm sure there's plenty of time.....I can't imagine it's going to warm up much for the foreseeable future 😄
I need to lose about 10 lbs but somehow I lose 4 and put on 6 nothing to do with Easter eggs, is it?

We're just losing a stone at a time yeah? Can't cope with thinking any further than that ATM.

Egg breakfast.

Home made soup or salad lunch.

Veg and piece of protein dinner.

Blow dust off pedometer.

That's it!!

I do this every year! The year that I remembered and did lose three stone over the winter we had a really crap summer and I spent it shivering in jumpers cos I wasn’t insulated by my cosy layer of flab. I kept it off until I got pregnant and birthed a non-sleeper. Four years later and I’ve noticed that living off caffeine and sugar for the energy has rendered my summer clothes a little bit on the snug side!

I have years of yo yo dieting and disordered eating behind me and have become comfortable with my body so I’m reluctant to step back into that merry go round again, but I am taking up exercise and upping my vegetable intake because I have been feeling unwell and lethargic and very stressed so I went to make some positive changes. I’m not weighing myself though!

Well I think we can do it. I’m planning to walk a lot. I do about 13 - 14,000 steps most days. If I can eat ok and do the walking I should be ok.
I just need to avoid the crap.
Oh how I love it.
But if I’m honest I eat so much crap it’s not a treat any more. I wonder if I even taste it.
