I'm going to lose 2 & 1/2 stone

By 25th June ...

I go on holiday the next day and I just refuse to be fat in 35 degree heat. I last went away two years ago and I'd never experienced this thing called 'chub rub.' I experienced it alright then! Hideous

I'll weigh in tomorrow and record it in here. I'll list my daily food and exercise sessions and I'm sure anyone reading will be positively riveted.

I'm planning on the 8 week blood sugar diet I think - it gives fast results but you're still eating real food and I just don't have it in me to do the whole shake thing right now.

I do Pilates around 3 it so times a week - mainly because it doesn't get my heart rate up and my make up stays intact. I'm working up to something that actually burns some fat. On the plus side - I can touch my toes

I'm 5 ft 4 and I'm very overweight really. I have a wardrobe filled with every size from 8 to 14 and since Christmas I've been firmly in the 14s and today I reached for my only size 16 pair of jeans and they bloody fit

I've had enough of the junk food I've been living on so day one is tomorrow and I WILL lose these couple of stones. Not aiming for skinny - I just want to feel comfortable

You're welcome to join me and we can keep each other going. And then, come June 25th, we can disappear into the ether again

Or I'll just talk to myself? Let's see

Oh excellent! What diet are you planning on doing? And you're not 9 stone 4 are you and wanting to lose 10lbs? That'll just depress me

I think I'm over 13 stone and that's just bloody ridiculous. I feel absolutely fine at around 10 1/2 or towards 11. I don't feel fine right now at all

Me too! Although I've got an extra month and want to lose it by 28th July. It's only half my journey though as then I want to lose another 2 stone by my 40th at the end of October. I'm doing Slimming World and started on Thursday. It's been a bit up and down so far but I'm making changes! Eating lots more veg is making a big difference.

I'm in. I started SW on Dec 28th. I've lost 1 stone 3lb so far, although the last few weeks I've been undeservedly lucky. I've now got 3 weeks when I'll miss the weigh in so I need this accountability. I want to lose another 1.5 stone by the start of the summer holidays.

I've got a train to catch at 6am, I've made the (not very nice) SW quiche muffin things for breakfast, and lunch, I'll treat myself to a mint tea at my train change, and I'll get some fruit on my walk from the station at the other end. And I will not give into the gin bar at the hotel I'm staying at.

I’m in! I have an event that day and would like to feel good for a change. I’m going for macros and recording - seeing what I eat written down helps me make better choices.

I'd like to join please!

Last week I was
15st 4.5lbs
5ft 8ins
32 BMI
Size 18

Ideally I'd like to be 11stone 11lbs which is BMI 25 and a size 14 for me
It's always my happy weight but I'll settle for 12st 4.5lbs.

I started slimming world and upped my exercise to 4 DVD sessions a week. from zero
I've also given up chocolate for lent so that is helping.

I lost 7lbs in my first week. Worked my arse off.

I weigh in on Wednesday and I'm hoping for about 3lbs. I haven't been as strict this week and will only fit in 3 exercise sessions.

I've done a 12 week countdown which finishes at the start of June and I'm going on holiday as well.

Good luck everyone!

Morning all

Nice to have some company and let's smash this weight loss shizz (that's enough motivational stuff for the week)

Well I got on the scales and it's not good news. I honestly can't believe I've managed to eat on a whopping two stone since last summer. My weight is normally fairly stable at 10 stone 10 - 11 stone 3 but I've surpassed myself and today weighed in at 13 stone 5

Absolutely ridiculous. No wonder my size 14s are bursting at the seams. I can't bring myself to buy 16s so I've got to knuckle down now

No food plan yet but I'm having my coffee and thinking about it

Can I join? I reckon I'm in a similar position to you rolypoly. My size 14s are feeling snug. I do a shit ton of exercise already so you can imagine the amount of food I'm putting away to be gaining weight. I even gained weight when I was training for a marathon. Ridiculous.

I'm too scared to weigh myself and have just eaten breakfast - 2 slices of toast generously spread with butter and marmalade. Not the best start. I'll weigh in later. I think I'll use my fitness pal because I know what I need to do, I just need to crack on and do it.

Great..new folk!

Ugh it’s awful isn’t it? I don’t do loads of exercise but I make no real gains with what I am doing, purely because I can’t stop eating. Some of the moves in Pilates are hindered by my stomach quite literally being in the way.

Finished my coffee... I am one of those freaks who believes in the benefits of a bulletproof coffee every morning. In other words, I’m a complete nutrition numpty. However, I like it and that’ll do. I have just one coffee a day and I don’t include it in any calorie type counting.. I have ..

A heaped teaspoon of coffee
A heaped teaspoon of grass fed butter
A tsp of MCT oil.

Blend up in the nutribullet and drink. Acquired taste probably 😀 I’ve been drinking it for a good few years now and can honestly say it probably makes no difference to anything whatsoever

About to flick through my blood sugar diet book and come up with some sort of food plan. Depressing

Lydia - I could just eat some hot buttered toast but don’t think it’s compatible with high fat and low carb.

I’m also a really fussy vegetarian so find low carb challenging enough as it it

Hi Everyone.Can I join too?
I’m 5ft 8 and there’s no good way to say this.. 15st 9lbs
I go on holiday 9 weeks today and If I could be in the low 14s I’d be so pleased with myself. It’s my 50th birthday while I’m away so definitely something to aim for.

I'm a veggie too. I did try low carb a couple of years back and it worked astonishingly quickly but it completely put paid to my exercise, I couldn't run for more than 10 minutes. I also can't wrap my head round it now I'm vegetarian, do you essentially eat a load of eggs?

Can I please join in. I'm 5' 7' and 11stone 6 and need to lose a stone at least. I've gotten away with how little I exercise and how many biscuits I eat. I'm about to join a gym and start doing the couch to 5k.

Rememory · 26/03/2018 10:42

Sorry I mean I've gotten away with it but can't any longer. I hate my arms, I can see the fat bubbles sitting in the tops of them. It's horrible.

I really don't have a specific diet in mind. I eat an enormous amount of crap like crisps and chocolate between meals so I intend to cut that out and also reduce my portion sizes. Up my exercise too. I'm going to Yoga twice a week which I love and I'll add in 2 brisk 3 mile walks.

Lydia - I hope not as I don't like eggs! Only in a cake. I actually heave at the thought of an omelette. Yuk. So I'll be playing this bloody sugar diet thing by ear I think

I've decided on breakfast anyway so that's a start ..

1 x fat free total Greek yogurt pot
1/2 scoop of whey protein powder
Handful blueberries
Tspn pumpkin seeds

Comes in at under 200 calories so that ticks the first box

Hi everyone, I'd like to join you.

I need to lose 2 stone by 26th May, and I'm 7lbs down and struggling.

I've been cutting down in general, but need a kick up the bum.

Off to find my copy of the Blood Sugar diet, will report back later.

RolyPolyLilBatFaceGirl · 26/03/2018 12:33

Welcome X!

I think Blood Sugar is about the best for fast results but being able to eat food. The main struggle is the 800 calorie bit ... I usually eat that in the form of a large bag of fruit gums
