9lbs in 16 days anyone in?

kaytee87 · 12/03/2018 11:07

I was doing quite well and was down to my pre baby weight (although that's still a stone heavier than I want to be). Have had a month off (didn't realise it had been so long til I checked mfp) and have gained 5lbs Sad
We were at a wedding on Friday so lots of booze then had a Chinese takeaway last night so I'm hoping some is water retention.
I'm 11st9lbs today and want to be 11st when I go on holiday at the end of the month.
I've started slim fast again today as I've had short term results on it before and think I will take water balance tablets for a couple of days incase there is any water retention.
Does anyone want to join me??

Ok I'm in too!
12 stone 10 post baby. Pre pregnancy weight was 11 stone 10. Want to be 9 stone 10 for my wedding in September!
Running out of time so I need a good couple of weeks. Would LOvE to be less than 12 stone by end of March.
Are you calorie counting?

Yes me too! I'd lost 4.5 stone post baby but put on 5 lbs recently. Need a big push now then another stone before wedding (pref by may which is when I have dress fitting).

I’m in! Have an event at the end of March and dreading going looking how I do!
I have got fast, short term results with slim fast previously to give myself that boost for motivation! (Used coconut water instead of milk)
What water retention tablets do you use?

I'm starting a big weight loss push today...so I'm in! I need lots of support to stop me reaching for the biscuits/choc/cake etc etc etc and keep me moving! I've logged all my meals on mfp this morning and going to try some exercise later. would really love to lose a stone over the 8 weeks at the latest... (unrealistic...?!?)

Aiming for between 1200-1400 calories a day. The water retention tablets are HRI water balance tablets, don't know if they're any good but worth a try.

My food for today is

B: slim fast shake
S: slim fast cheese bites
L: slim fast meal bar
D: sausages, mash & sweetcorn
S: Apple

I find it makes me accountable for what I'm eating if I post it here as I can't sneak treats.

I'm going to weigh again on Wednesday to see if any water weight has come off by then if anyone wants to join me then?

Feeing really hungry now and trying to resist snacking before I get home for dinner...

Weds weigh in sounds good, I weighed this morning at 11st 2....Confused

So today I've had

B: honey nut clusters (not the best start but I weighed them out so only had 45g)
L: ryvitas with light cheese triangle and salad, light Muller yoghurt
D: baked potato with mushrooms, tomatoes and red onion in Philly sauce, and grilled chicken breast
S: banana, grapes and a lot of water

Made an effort to go for a brisk walk earlier too.
Evenings are usually when I reach for the junk and snacks, but feeling full and determined and tired so think ill have a bath and early night to avoid temptation Wink

Evening snacking is my problem too. I've asked my dh not to bring any chocolate/biscuits/cakes home anymore.
Have just had my Apple and will have an early night too.

How are you coping? My willpower is so shit. I so want to be thin but I feel really deprived when I'm dieting. Gah. Can't seem to stick to anything for more than a couple of days.

I'm ok, I drink a glass of water or have a cup of tea if I feel a bit hungry and that helps. I don't think I could keep up slim fast diet for any longer than 5 days at a time then a couple of days off.
The annoying thing is that I broke my ankle really badly at the end of November so haven't been able to do any exercise since then at all which doesn't help, especially with my mood and energy levels.

Hi

So today I've had:

B: poached egg on wholemeal toast
L: chicken & veg soup, yoghurt, grapes

haven't a clue what to cook later though!? I can never be bothered to cook different things for me/dh and kids and they are so annoyingly fussy! its hard to find something that will fit my calories and they'll all enjoy too!

londonloves - I'm the same...very little willpower! I try to keep busy, keep drinking water it stops me feeling hungry or bored because that's when I reach for food!

kaytee - ouch your broken ankle sounds rough, its hard when you want to exercise but physically can't. I find yoga and swimming good for toning and low impact for your ankle in time when it gets a bit stronger

@llynnnn have a look at sloppy joes (think Jamie Oliver has a recipe online). They're really yummy with hidden veg and if you use turkey mince, low in calories.

Off to Thailand in 11days and need to get this last half a stone off. Aiming for under 1000 calories a day. Mostly salad and plain stir fry veg, will maintain willpower by remembering sight of me in a bikini when I sorted through holiday clothes last weekendShock

Kaytee that looks good, never tried it before but will give it a go. Tonight I've gone for Italian chicken for kids (breaded chicken escalope with tomato and cheese on top) with couscous and veg. I'm having my chicken plain

For5minutes - Thailand will be amazing, That's very good motivation to stick with it...good luck!

Well done!

I think I'm going to have to give SF a go, or something radical! I had a shit day at whirl yesterday then had to go out afterwards for an appointment so ended up having pizza 🙁
I just have no discipline whatsoever. I'm trying to remember that nothing tastes as good as thin feels...

I’m getting married on the 1st and really want to be back under 10st (10st 5.5 this am).

On Monday I started calorie counting at 980 net per day and doing 40 day shred (although I only have 27 days).
