21 days till my sister's wedding. Need to lose as much weight as I can but sensibly.

Anyone want to join me for the ride? Thinking if I post here every day / meal time it will help to keep me on track!

Weighed at 11st 1 this morning, would love to get as close to 10 stone as possible.

Join me!

Just about to boil 2 eggs for breakfast!

Are you exercising too? What’s your target weight/size?

Report
twinkledag · 17/02/2018 09:09

Target weight 10 stone.

I have an exercise bike and do Pilates once a week. Maybe I should throw in a 5k run too?

Oooh I'd love to join you! I'm 10st 10 but that's a stone over weight!! I just love carbs too much!

Welcome @taekwondo! What have you had for breakfast?

I ended up having a mini fry up and feel full! 2 boiled eggs, a slice of bacon, half a 97% pork sausage and a spoon of baked beans so mostly low carb.

Ditch the carbs as much as you can, it will really help!

@twinkledag I really need to! So far I've had some water, dp is going to the shops to get some salad and we're going to have a halloumi salad for brunch! It's during the week I'm worst, when no one is watching... sneaky bag of crisps, fish finger sandwiches - food of the gods! Oh my days!

You're off to a good start, maybe in 21 days we'll be a stone lighter together

Nice one!

We have come to visit mother in law for the night. She's currently cooking us a chicken roast. I'll ask for lots of veg. She's very funny about food - if I don't eat everything on the plate she won't give me as much next time as she doesn't like waste Hmm. She even does it with my toddler but toddlers waste food, don't they?!

I had a handful of crisps and a couple of mini sausage rolls when we got here as we'd been driving for 2 hours and missed lunch. I then found some melon in the fridge so munching on that to get me through! Going for a walk after dinner too which will get me some exercise.

What's for dinner?

@twinkledag oooh she sounds a bit odd. Toddlers each different amounts on different days!

Not sure on dinner yet, I'm still full from the salad! No idea how!

We've spent the day at a friends and ds (6) has come in and out himself to bed, and he's already asleep, so in about 4 mins he was fast asleep!

I've eaten more food - a couple of biscuits. So hard when not at home to control the food. Going for a run tomorrow to combat today!

Luckily we're leaving tomorrow Grin

Am up and having an omelette for breakfast, resisting the yummy, sugar-filled granola!!

Lunch was 3 fishfingers and some veg, that's all MIL had that was remotely low in cals.

Also ate a teeny sliver of toddler's pizza and a yoghurt covered rice cake.

Dinner was back home - chilli con carne with smashed avocado and fat free natural yoghurt.

Just getting ready to go out for a 30-minute run! Wish me luck!

Can I join, although I have about 2 stone to lose, obs not in 21 days but it’s a start. Caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror earlier, rather disgusted with myself.

Today I’ve not really been great, so start afresh tomorrow. Will boil some eggs for the morning and have some fruit
Am rubbish with lunches, never know what to have. Got soup for dinner.

What do you all do for exercise?. I’ve been quite sluggish recently but possibly because I’ve been eating too much crap.

K x

Welcome @Kaykay06!

I hate exercising but I force myself to do something at least once a week but going to step it up in the next few weeks. I do Pilates and have an exercise bike at home. I just went for a half hour run too. I used to run quite a lot a few years ago so I can run for half an hour non stop pretty much anytime. I last ran about 6 months ago Blush

1lb down which I'm pleased about considering I couldn't control the food for 24 hours over the weekend Smile

20 days until I go on holiday! I lost a LOT of weight last year and got to the smallest I've been since I was about 13 years old (no joke) but I relapsed into my BED ways over December and January and have gained a shocking amount back. None of my lovely new size 12 clothes will even zip up any more Sad

I'm so disappointed in myself as I was on track to look and feel fantastic on my holiday but there's no point dwelling on it, I suppose. I am where I am and that's that.

I started low carbing yesterday and I'm hoping (based on past experience) to lose about a stone between now and then, and at least shift some of the bloat from around my middle!

First of all, being three stone overweight helps with fast losses at first BlushGrin

I keep my carbs to under 20g a day and I do intermittent fasting, so I'm only really having two (small-ish) meals a day. It's not something that I can sustain long term but I did it this way before my holiday last year and lost 18lbs in four weeks. I kept it off too, until my massive stumble over the past 10 weeks Sad

I need to focus on the positives. I'm still three stone lighter than my highest weight. I'm just now over a stone heavier than my lightest Blush

Hey, I'm just over a stone heavier than where I want to be so let's do this together :)

I had a sliver of cake for someones birthday at work - was so good! Promised myself I could have some if I go for another run tomorrow. Pilates class tonight and then chicken and veg for dinner.

What's today's menu?

Two days on plan and I've lost 5lbs Grin it's all water weight but that's what makes me look super bloated and "fuller" so I'm happy. Just 19 days left!

I've had a coffee with cream, I've got a protein bar for this afternoon and dinner will be pork belly, I think. Or if I can't be bothered making that I'll have a three egg omelette cooked in butter with veggies.

Well done @amusedbush!

My food shopping is coming tonight so I had limited breakfast options. I had a bagel and an apple. Lunch was chickpea curry and cauliflower rice. Like you, I might just have eggs for dinner.
