So which would you class as your true weight? I weighed myself last night and this morning and I was 3lb heavier last night than first thing this morning! So which one would you say is your actual weight?

Also TMI but I hadn't been for a poo between the two... so where did the 3lb go?? How can it just disappear overnight?? It's like some kind of magic...

Weigh yourself once a week at the same time . Morning is usually best .

Yes- your weight changes throughout the day,

Throughout the day your body weight can fluctuate from 2 to 4 lbs. Generally, you weigh less in the morning than in the evening. This is due to the things you consume during the day and the various functions of your body while you sleep.
It doesn’t matter whether you weigh yourself morning or not, the time of day just has to be consistent, so always in the morning, or always at night.

Morning. You don't tend to drink water overnight so that accounts for the 'weight loss'

Either. it doesn't really matter. Your evening weight will include everything you've eaten that day.

Always morning - naked, after the toilet but before a shower.

In the evening you will be adding whatever you have eaten that day and unless you eat and drink exactly the same thing everyday your weight will fluctuate based on what you have consumed. Morning is more accurate because your food (whatever it was) has been processed by your body overnight. Having said that, if you eat high carbs or high salt one day, don't be surprised if the scales show a weight gain the next day or two a these both tend to bloat our bodies. That's why once a week at the same time is better than every day.

(I also say pre-shower because I must be some kind of sponge because my pre-post shower weight can differ by as much as 2lb!!!)
