Has anyone got any tips? DS is 10 weeks and I have about 2 stone to lose but I'm sooooo hungry all the time that I'm struggling to eat sensibly. I even managed to put weight on over Christmas Blush

Concentrate on the bf for now. You can lose weight when your body is not producing food for the baby.

I agree with Mike but I would eat healthily (don't use the bf as an excuse for eating shxx!!). Remember the baby is taking a lot of goodness from your body so you need to stock up on the good things!.

My 3rd baby is nearly 4 weeks old, I am breastfeeding and I’ve been losing weight for a couple of weeks, 5lb off so far!

I have just been logging my food on my fitness pal and watching the portion sizes, I have cut nothing out! I will start running again after my 6 week check.

For breakfast try porridge or eggs as they will fill you up for longer

For snacks have a few nuts, some fruit, some veg sticks ( you can chop the veg and leave in a box in the fridge so it’s there when you want to snack) a few squares of dark chocolate.

Lunch soup is a good bet or salad with some chicken.

For dinner just eat what you normally eat but watch the portion and always have some salad or steamed veggies with your meal.

Thanks don't want to starve myself but I'm definitely reaching for the unhealthy snacks! Good idea about the veg!

From talking to friends there definitely seems to be 2 camps here, those that lose while BFing and those that can't seem to lose until they stop!

I can't even think about dieting until my baby is starting solids at least. Too sleep deprived, too hungry. I always feel frumpy and lumpy, which is annoying, but that's what yoga pants were made for!

My first dd1 bf on demand I dropped sooo much weight, I have no idea why. I wasn't actually trying. She was a little chub! She was always hungry!

Try to eat good nourishing food and avoid the unhealthy snacks. Fruit and nuts are good snacks. Base your meals on veg.
Biscuits, crisps and cakes are not good snack choices and they tend to make you hungrier.

I’m in the same boat OP. Trying not to be too hard on myself as you should too. I am consciously walking often now to keep mobile and burn off some calories. Have also stopped buying snacks (chocolate and crisps) so only fruit in the house!
Every time I get upset about my size, DH reminds me that it’s because I produced our beautiful DC.....remember you have done that too!
You are clearly conscious of your weight and I’m sure you will lose it as soon as your circumstances permit x
