Oh Fuck, I am 2.5 stone over weight.

I need your help, I have been an eating machine since the beginning of December. I am getting fatter and fatter by the day and am so miserable.

Today I put my brave head on and got on the scales. I weigh 11 stone 4.5lbs. I am not very tall so I am barrelesque and wobbly.

Things really have to change, honestly none of my clothes fit and I only have three dresses that I can currently fit into. My jeans do not fit and are so tight I can barely do them up let alone breathe.

Please join me in sorting my fat act out.

I'm in!

I have just over 2 1/2 stone to lose.
Weighed in today at 10st 13 🙈
Can relate to having a. Wardrobe full of clothes but an extremely limited and boring selection that actually fit. Look like a tramp for work as all my smart pretty clothes are too small.
Going away in 15 weeks so time to do something about it.
I'm using an app called Nutrachcek to track my calories and aiming to start off with the gym at least 3x a week.

Good luck we can do this we just have to keep trying minute by minute hour by hour day by day x

Forgot to say I'm only 5ft so any extra weight on me doesn't help.
I currently look like a hamster that's being strong food in her cheeks for winter.
Ready to come out of hibernation now !

Yes I have a wardrobe full of really nice clothes but nothing fits or just looks ridiculously tight. I am embarrassed when I catch sight of myself.

Yesterday I found myself online ready to buy larger clothes but I have clothes, I just need to stop this non stop eating. In a few weeks time I am pretty sure that my clothes will fit me again if I stick to the wright loss.

I don't really have a plan, just the obvious with no junk food or chocolate, biscuits etc.

Instead of eating all evening in front of the tv I plan to sort myself out a bit and do my nails, brows etc which will hopefully make me feel a little better about myself.

Morning Grannymac, I was pretty good yesterday. I didn't eat any junk food and managed to avoid chocolate which is my number one downfall. I am addicted. I have a bad headache today which is probably sugar withdrawal.

I am hoping for another good day today.

How did you get on?

I had a good day food wise yesterday not particularly healthy but within calorie count.

Got a parking ticket today so messed up and just sat dunking 8 biscuits into a cup of tea Blush
Going to head to the gym this evening first time In about 3 months.

Do you get chance to do any exercise x

Same here, 5'4 and 11.8. Disgusted, can't face sex with dh.
And I confess I am sat in a cafe with coffee +cake.
On the plus side I have set up my cross trainer to start tomorrow!
Been taking the ddogs out every night as a start too!

Can I join in please? I'm 13 stone and 5'4". I don't know how this has happened! I need to lose 3 stone. I want it gone before the Summer. I used to have such strong will power, but those days are long gone. This will be the first time I've lost weight properly. Used to keep my weight under control due to eating disorder, so actually not under control at all. I am now happy and the weight has crept on.

Starting C25K this week, and cutting down on booze. Also limiting carbs and am currently vegan (although that's never helped me lose weight).

I did it before and lost a stone in a month so I know I can do it, it's just getting started Blush

Ooooo my people!!
I'm 5ft2 and refusing to weigh myself BlushI've just given in and bought size 16 jeans though and decided enough is enough. I don't want a miracle or to be a size 6 but a comfortable 12 would be ace!
It all started when I was bed bound pregnant with my twins - they're nearly 2 and I'm running out of credible time to blame them for the extra weight Grin

@Figrollsnotfatrolls me and my do not had sex since October as he keeps reminding me. But I know when I feel like this about myself the idea of him touching me and seeing all my bumps really puts me off.
Well done on the dog walking my kids would love a dog and do think it would get us out more but I've heard it's like having another baby again ! Not ready for that

Hello, can I join in please?

I have 3.5 stone to lose and am in the same position re clothes. I bought two pairs of size 16 jeans which will need to do me for a few weeks but I need to shift this weight.

My plan is log on myfitness plan and calorie count. I need to think ahead with what I plan to eat and look at portion control. I also plan to walk more and take the stairs more.

I have asthma and struggle especially when overweight so going to try some fitness classes once I lose a bit as it is soooo embarassing at the moment.

Im currently 37 weeks pregnant so shouldnt probably be posting but my weight has been getting me so down for the last 2 years . I was a size 6 4 years ago when i met my partner, now when not pregnant im a 14/16 . I am so down and feel so unattractive. I just want to be a nice size 10/12 . Comfortable in my own skin !
I pray that once baby is born i have the motivation to do something about it . We have a wedding in september with dhs friends and would like to look and FEEL good

Me too - 5'4" and 11st 4. I used to freak out when I went over 10stone but somehow jumped from 10 to 11 last year. I have beautiful clothes that don't fit. I started following SlimmingWorld today (not going to group as I truly hated it but following the plan).

2 stone to lose over here - 11 stone ish at 5'4". Had DS2 3 months ago so it's about time to start thinking about this (and to stop eating a sugary snack every time I sit down to BF Blush).

Can I join in? I am 5'6'' and 11st. I feel like the Blob and putting on weight is costing me a fortune in work clothes. Reckon I need to lose about 2 stone.

I bought a small cross trainer before Christmas - the plan is to walk to work instead of taking the Tube, do at least 10 mins or more on the cross trainer everyday, and stop drinking alcohol and eating chocolate biscuits.

Off for a walk now.

I'm 5'4" and weighed 11st 12lbs on NYD. My goal is 9st by the summer. Going on holiday in 7 weeks and want to be 10st, as I've got some nice clothes I want to wear.
I've got a diary and log everything I eat. Doing Low Carb High Fat and 16:8, as I find it easy to skip breakfast. It is working, I weighed 11st 4lbs this morning.
I don't feel starving hungry, and can see how I was eating out of habit, particularly when I feel a bit stressed /overwhelmed with life in general.
When I feel like giving in and eating cake/choc/chips/toast etc I think about how disappointed I'll be if I'm still this fat on my holiday. I want to lose this weight once and for good.

5ft 3 and 11st 4, clothes look awful (those that fit) and I need to shift at least 2st before I get married in December.

Following WW but really need to exercise more, starting walking at lunch break & using exercise bike in the evenings. Spent the day baking banana and blueberry muffins, bought an omelette maker for work so less bread & stewed some apples with cinnamon to add to Greek yoghurt. That’s as good as It’s got so far, but better than scoffing leftover Christmas Quality Streets Grin

Thank you all for holding my chubby hand and joining. We can do this!

Shall we have Monday morning as our official weigh day, if we could all post our weight tomorrow?

So far today I have been good with food as I have been too busy to think about it, my problems with eating start when I sit down in the evening. I have been to the supermarket and filled the fridge with healthy food and not a single naughty item entered my trolley, in fact I avoided the chocolate and biscuit sections.

Oh, I have reinstalled My Fitness Pal and I shall deal with that later. Also I have dug out the Fitbit, found its charger and it's currently charging. Grin

Plan of campaign :
1 Download MyFitnessPal to your phone
Record every single thing you eat or drink, every single crisp or cake crumb.
Do not change it, just record it.
Then you will start to have a better idea of exactly what you are eating and thus what is sensible to change.

2 Close the kitchen between meals.
Brush your teeth after every meal as everything tastes foul mixed with Colgate
and try not to eat between meals.
drink a big glass of water but try to not have calories other than as part of a meal

Those two changes alone will make anything else you try work better.
Good luck.
