What did you eat today weight loss thread

Partially inspired by last years epic “what did you eat today” thread, anyone up for restarting one specifically in this section as a way of holding ourselves to account? No matter what your method of weight loss is....

I’m WI tomorrow for the first time in a month and know it won’t be pretty, going to ease myself in with 16:8 for a week and then adjust to either 1200kcal a day or back to 2 fast days a week. Anticipate having about 10lbs to lose.

Today was terrible but I did a transatlantic flight across several time zones so eating was buggered - I’ll start properly tomorrow!

Hi, love these threads...yesterday I ate:

2 bananas
1 pack salted wholemeal popcorn
5 ryvitas dark rye with 5 laughing cow light
1 tomato cup a soup
1 chicken breast
Jacket potato with lurpak lighter and 40g grated cheese
Salad and low fat dressing
Copious green tea and water
And I confess, 4 shortbread biscuits leftover from Christmas....I am maintain g from old ww pro points and try to balance out over the week as a whole.

Yesterday I ate:

B - Greek yogurt, frozen berries and honey
L - Wholemeal pitta with avocado, cherry tomatoes and humous with green salad on the side.
D - Roast chicken thighs, quinoa and salad

Snack wise - a bit of the kids Xmas chocolate, 2 crackers with blue cheese, yogurt and fruit.

this is a Good Idea

Yesterday
Some kind of overnight bircher muesli thing
Homemade minestrone (farro wheat instead of pasta)
(so far so good yeah?)
A big lump of cheshire cheese
A carrot
A tangerine
Some walnuts
A massive packet of those hummus chips things from the health food shop
A lindor truffle

ie no proper evening meal and a ton of picking at things with no sense of what is being consumed.

Today so far:
chia seed, horchata, almonds and pear
black coffee, green tea

So far today for me:

B - 2 eggs scrambled on one slice w/meal toast
L - Tomato soup with cheese grated on top. One w/meal pitta

2 x Black Magic chocs.

Still fighting my way through all the Christmas bad stuff!

Yesterday, I ate:

B - 60g branflakes with 120ml semi skimmed milk
L - M&S beef sandwich, M&S sour cream and chilli lentil curls (88 cals a bag and absolutely delicious - as long as you like the chilli!)
D - Beef teriyaki stirfry, with lots of veg and a little bit of rice.

Snacks - an apple and a banana and a mini paun au chocolate (oops!)

Total cals - 1715, leaving me 105 under my goal (when you factor in exercise).

I am in!

Today I have had;

Apple and Raisin porridge topped with a little granola - I call it apple crumble porridge - made with skimmed milk
2 x coffee with 1 sugar (struggling to give that up)

2 boiled eggs, smoked salmon and salad with 1 tbsp full fat mayo

I have an apple and peanut butter to snack on

dinner will be fajitas - made with chicken, peppers and onions, homemade guac, 0% greek yoghurt, 1 white and wheat wrap and a ton of salad.

Excellent! I’m 8 hours behind so will be a while before I post today but DH is out tonight and tomorrow so can at least just do simple soups for me to reset a bit

Would love to know if you’re all maintaining or losing and how?

B: Plum yoghurt pot (from Tom Daley book)
L: Homemade red lentil & sweet potato soup (also Tom Daley), 2 crackers, bag of popcorn
D: lasagne & salad

No snacks. Water / herbal tea to drink.

I'm trying to lose weight. I'm doing no-s, so can eat anything as long as I stick to 3 platefuls. Works for me, 2.5 stone down, 0.5 to go.

Coffee

More coffee at work

Melba toast and peanut butter
Almonds and raisins

Baked sweet potato with Bolognaise sauce

Lots of water

Chicken casserole for dinner

Need to cut on the PB

B - Apple and green powder in water
S- banana
L- salad with 2 poached eggs and hummus
D- half a sweet potato, 2 pork chops and mixed veg
Snack - hummus and a carrot

I am STARVING!! After over doing it all Xmas my stomach is screaming at me to eat!!

I’m doing 16:8:
L: portobello mushrooms in Henry sauce with giant couscous and butternut squash roasted and tossed in tahini and dates, roast cauliflower and carrots, and some tofu
S: cucumber and hummus
D: veg and chickpea soup

Hi I'm maintaining using the old ww propoints. I've been below goal for 4 years now having lost 5.5 stone. Yesterday was:

2 bananas and 3 satsumas
4 ryvitas and 4 laughing cow light
Tomato cup a soup
2 packs salted wholegrain popcorn
4 coffees with skimmed milk
2 green tea
Jacket potato with baked beans, grated reduced fat cheese, salad and low fat dressing.
3 shortcake biscuits (Christmas leftovers!)

Yesterday's breakfast was porridge (made with water), apple and cinnamon with a spoon of soy yoghurt. HM minestrone for lunch. Dinner was Thai fish cakes with chili sauce, small jacket, spinach, sugar snaps. Two mint crisp chocolates and a pack of pombears for snacks. Black coffee and Earl Grey tea.

D - Salmon fillet, black lentil dhal and sugar snap pea's. Large bowl of Greek yogurt and frozen berries for pudding.

Peppermint tea before bed
I also polished off the remains of the Black Magic choices..think there were 5 left..all gone now though Grin

Today so far:

B - didn't have time with school run and reading morning, went for run when I got back.
L - 2 scrambled eggs with ham on a w/meal pitta. Green salad
D - I'm doing a tofu stir fry with rice noodles

Not an amazing day but kept to within 7hour window

L: hummus, cucumber, lettuce, vine leaves, spinach and artichoke dip, one rice cake with mashed avocado, blueberries and DD’s leftover yoghurt
S: mandarin, many veggie Percy pigs, handful of pecans, some of DD’s chips
D: quinoa, black beans, roast sweet potato and radishes tossed in chipotle roasted garlic salsa. More blueberries

Lots of coffee with soy creamer

@DeliveredByKiki where did you get the soy creamer?

I'm trying to cut back from today, my children don't even go back to school until Wednesday so I can't go back swimming until then either (even though my costume won't fit).

Today I've had a bowl of homemade vegan cream of sweetcorn soup with oatcakes. It is so nice and really cheap as I used Frozen sweetcorn (tesco finest £1).
I'm going to do what works best for me which is one large meal every 24hrs (eat/sleep/eat). I don't drink anything other than water so I'm going through jugs of it filled with frozen limes.

Hi its been great hearing all your menus!
Today I have eaten:
B- coffee with milk, 1 slice oat toast with butter and marmalade.
L- Gregg's sausage roll & quarter tin spaghetti hoops.
Afternoon Snack 3 hotel chocolat and tea.
D- will be homemade pizza and salad. With lots of prosecco. I know this is truly terrible eating,but the DIET of ALL DIETS is starting Monday when I'm back to work and kids are back to school. (So still have all the stilton and Christmas cake to polish off tomorrow!). Good luck all!
