Does anyone want to join me? I’d love to lose 7lbs before the 15th December. Going to use MFP but also log what I eat here as it makes me more accountable. Will start tomorrow if anyone wants to join me.

Woohoo. My fitness pal, it’s an app that you can log all your food and exercise in and it works out your calories.

I gained 3 stone while pregnant and still have this 7lbs to lose (ds is 16mo now!!!) I think my main problem now is that I’m eating breakfast so early in the morning with ds that I’m ending up having an extra meal in the day. I’m going to try and not eat before 9am now and see if that makes a difference.

I'll join too :) keep joining these type of threads and then falling off the wagon! Currently trying to up my physical activity (gym two or three times a week and the 7 minute workout on the other days) and to avoid snacking, but will definitely need to do more to lose that amount of weight! How do you plan to do it?

Just by eating less I suppose secret, I’m going to stop having breakfast at 7am and wait til 9am and Just have a hot chocolate in the evening on its own instead of with something to eat.
I’m going to try and do an exercise video a few times a week but I don’t have much time at the moment so might struggle.

Secretlife I could have written your first sentence. Can I join. Today I'm 10st 4 and not any bit happy at this weight or even comfortable in my clothes. 7lbs would at least make my existing clothes look better in time for the festive season. I started again two days ago so far so good with the eating have cut well down on junk, trying to limit carbs too. Or to at least healthy versions. Good luck everyone

Hi bambinos. My dh and I are away for a long awaited weekend on 15th December and I’m thinking the 7lbs will just make me feel more comfortable in my clothes too and fit back into my pre baby skinny jeans 😫

I’d ideally like to lose 1.5lbs to be a size 8-10 again but 7lbs will be a good start.

Oh my pre baby jeans fitted me just fine until about two years ago so I can't even blame this weight on babies. I blame a stressful job comfort eating and just loving food. Grin I keep trying on different things every week in case they magically fit but no. 1.5 stones would be my ultimate goal but 7lbs and I'd be back in the healthy bmi range so I'd take that.

Ooh can I join in too, please? I've lost a few pounds since the summer by doing a (very, very) loose combination of Harcombe/16:2/NoS/couch to 5K and logging what I eat on MFP (I've discovered I eat massive portions!!). As you can see I get bored quite easily and can't seem to stick to anything for too long....Blush. A new challenge would be most welcome. Smile

I'll join you as I need to focus and get back on track. Still have quite a bit to loose, a stone to reach healthy BMI and then some, but I have been a bit stuck over the last month, loosing and regaining the same few pounds.

This will be my boost.

Will weigh in tomorrow morning for start weight.

So far had breakfast at 9am (porridge), just had macaroni cheese for lunch as will have a light dinner tonight, have college at 6.
Will probably have done 2/3 miles walking by the end of the day.

Do you all fancy doing a weigh in every Friday?

The later breakfast has worked in that I didn’t have a mid morning snack.

Oh me please! 4 weeks today is the start of the Christmas hols here and I would love love love to be under 10st by then!! Was 10st 7.8lbs this morning which is the heaviest I've been for over a year. My head has really just not been in the right place the last couple of months with regards to my food and I have had a shoulder injury since the summer which is really limiting my exercise. Tbh I think I have been using this as an excuse!!

Anyway plan is to cut out all snacking, reduce alcohol (did consider cutting it out altogether for 4 weeks but not sure that is realistic given I have a 40th birthday party, a work Christmas do and a friend I don't see very often coming to stay between now and my 4 week target) and to up my exercise again.

So far today I have had 30g rice crispies with milk for breakfast and leftover veggie chilli for lunch (no rice) so reckon I am between 500 - 600 cals so far.

I'm happy to do a Friday weigh in.

Good luck all!!

Friday weigh in is good for me.
I put weight on after having my children - they're 19 and 17 now so it's probably about time I lost a bit of it!! Grin

Food today....
No breakfast (following 16:8 way of eating - so eating between 12pm and 8pm)
Lunch: Baked potato, cottage cheese, sweetcorn and coleslaw
Natural live yoghurt for pudding
Dinner will be: Sausage and lentil casserole with root veg mash.
couple of squares of 90% chocolate

Good luck everyone.

I’m in, I could do with 7lb off in time for my works xmas do so I can fit into the dress I want to wear instead of the ‘comfort fit’ dress I had to buy for a do last week.

I’m using MFP with and allowance of 1350 cals a day and will throw in a couple of 5:2 style v low cal days a week starting next week to off set a planned night out this sat (and any other weekend slip ups)

Morning everyone,

So today my plan is

B: porridge
L: ham & cheese sandwich
D: mince & potatoes
S: Hot chocolate
E: Walk 2 miles & will try to do an exercise video this evening if I have time

I feel like I’m a bit bloated so I might take some water tablets for a few days.

Kaytee87 the best thing is it comes in at 300 cals and takes as much time to cook as toast takes in the toaster and is much more satisfying than toast

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 23/11/2017 10:57

I'll join in.

I've already cut out alcohol and chocolate, and my plan for the next couple of days is to stay on plain you hurt and oatcakes.

Can I join? I have been thinking for a while to try and shift about a total of 1st, which will bring me securely into the healthy weight range (and also help me back into some clothes that no longer fit). 7lbs would be a great start, and would in fact just get me into the healthy weight range, and I have a big event coming up on the 16th December.

I am currently 10st 7 lbs, so 10st will be my target.
