Hi all,
I know there’s been threads on this before but I can’t find anything recent in this area.
I know this works as it’s worked for friends (male and female) who religiously so it every 4/5 months. You lose 6kilos in a week.
Anyone want to join me, starting tomorrow?
The rules and diet plan are here;

www.jaduncan.com/2006/04/how-i-lost-stone-in-week.html?m=1

The diet was designed by doctors to help people lose weight (a stone) in a week.. which I really really need as I’ve just started a new job (after 6 weeks off which meant I was bored and ate loads) as none of my dresses fit!!

Xx

Brilliant 😊 I did start it once then had to go away for work which scuppered things. Good luck and keep us posted on how you’re doing!

For those who have done it before, is it hard to keep the weight off when your done?

@Boston Where is veggie version please? Can you post a link? Have you tried it?

I've tried this one without meat and it was a miserable egg-filled week!

@Bostin Sorry, your name was auto-corrected....

It’s this one

I bottled it though when I realised how many eggs were involved. (I once did a 3 day egg fast and have never felt quite the same about eggs since)

Following. My (healthy) food shop comes in the morning but when that runs out I'll start this. Would love to know how you get on.

Oooh, it's not as bad as it could be! Liking the avocado, cottage cheese and quorn hotdogs so think I will give it a go when I'm off work in a week's time 🍅🍳

2 stone to lose 😣 at least!

I've got all my supplies in now except the cabbage, I'm doing the veggie version.
Three different shops I had to go to.
M&S had no grapefruit and no cottage cheese so had to go to Tesco for those and then Holland & Barrett for the flax seeds , which were only available in a big bag.
Had my grilled tomato and dry toast and I'm looking forward to my fruit for lunch. I'm working on the assumption bananas aren't included so its berries, grapes, apple & orange I think.
I just can't fall off the wagon with this, it's just a week , I must have some bloody willpower , right ?

Feeling fine so far.
Early nights will help I think , the evenings are when I eat and drink everything I shouldn’t .

Does anyone think swapping salad for veg would help? 🙈🙈 I literally cannot put salad in my mouth unless it's dripping with calorific dressing

Report
FilledSoda · 21/11/2017 13:47

I think the reason you don’t substitute items is just to get into the disciplined frame of mind .
I’m quite an all or nothing person and if I comprised part of the plan it would throw me off course and I would give up before the week was out. But that’s just me.
As far as swapping salad for veg I suppose there could be a carb difference depending on what you went for.
I’d be more inclined to just do without if I really couldn’t stomach it .
