Starting today, need to lose by Christmas. Following slimming world.

Day 3, so far so good. Weigh 11st 7lb so want to be closer to 10st by Christmas. Slimming world plan is easy to follow, but I need to increase activity to lose weight. Weighing on a Monday morning. Any buddies out there?

Hello. You're the same start day and start weight as me! I'm doing weight watchers. I used to do SW pre-children and got down to goal, but I've failed at it a couple of times over the last couple of years, so I needed a new challenge and made the switch.

So, yes! I'll be your buddy :D

I'm aiming for 2 stone off by my birthday, which is just before Christmas. My first goal is a stone before my hols in October.

ps: My WI days are Wednesdays, so although I started on Monday, I weighed today. 3 1/2 lbs off already, since Monday morning Grin

May I join you? If I weighed 11st 7 I would be pretty happy! Grin I've got 12lbs to lose before I get back into most of my clothes but I think 20lbs would get me feeling really good. I've lost 33lbs so far.

I'm doing couch to 5k (with lovelies on a thread on here) but would be nice to have some week by week company on this thread specially for the weight loss.

Hi beep, welcome! Day 4 today - wasn't as prepared as I should have been about preparing breakfast and lunch so I'll probably be starving later. I find that if you don't prepare the diet goes out the window so I'm determined that can't happen today. How are you all getting on?

So yesterday didn't go too bad, stuck with the plan but I'm not convinced that it's possible to eat all I did yesterday and still lose weight. I have to stick with the plan until my weigh in day to see whether it really works or not. Today will be a test - always enjoy a takeaway or nice dinner on a Friday coupled with a few glasses of wine so fingers crossed I can brave it out!!

Yeah I agree pixie preparation is definitely the key, especially for lunch times at work, for me. Otherwise I go to the supermarket at lunch time and make bad choices!

Hello beepbeep! I'm keeping an eye on the couch to 5k thread too, as I'm trying to do a 10k shuffle in October for charity!

Yes, definitely stick with it pixie - a week is nothing, in the grand scheme of things. I know people who only weigh monthly, and mostly go by how they feel, and their clothes fit. I'd love to get to that stage!

What is your plan tonight for the takeaway/wine? Can you allow yourself a healthier take away option and a couple of glasses?

Weekend tactics...I am out tonight so I'm sticking to gin and slimline tonic. I have all my weekly points (35) saved and have earned an extra 10 fit points with a spin class this morning!

So i think my biggest problem is lack of exercise and menopause . I have 2 good weeks where I lose 2 lbs then 2 bad weeks where I put them back on . Im now embarrassed to go to class . I go but it is awful . I would love to get a grip and cop on now and sort this out once and for all
