Intuitive Eating - anyone with me?

I've just read <a class="break-all" href="//www.amazon.co.uk/Intuitive-Eating-Evelyn-Tribole/dp/1250004047?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">the book and am keen to make some changes to my eating.

For those not in the know, it's about letting go of dieting and getting back in tune with what you want to eat, the idea being that we are all born with an ability to eat in a way that is good for us, we just need to get back in touch with that. You eat when you're at a medium level of hunger, rather than ravenous, and stop eating when comfortably full. There are no restrictions, and deprivation is avoided at all costs.

The focus isn't on weight loss, but I wasn't sure where else to post this as I'm an overeater so hopefully intuitive eating will result in a healthier body.

Anyone like to join me?
