Weight loss chat

Slowly buggering on with low calorie eating. I've lost 4lb in nearly 5 weeks. Come and tell me how marvellous I am :-D

I was hoping to have lost half a stone by now. 4lb is still in the 'danger zone' as I feel I could put it back on in an instant.

But I'm losing weight right? Albeit very slowly...

and I don't really feel deprived and I am not finding it hard. I will struggle though if I don't get to half a stone down in a couple of weeks.

I'm the same 1-2lbs a week got 1.5 stone to go. I convince myself I will keep it off if lose it sensibly. 4lbs is a lot well done. I am calorie counting too after lots of faddy diets have failed for me. keep going I think you are doing great kx

Thanks! have tried 5:2 - worked well for a month then I ended up putting more weight back on - first time EVER that has happened

tried low carb - can't do it, I love toast and pasta too much and did nothing but think about them. This way I can have sardines on toast for lunch and the odd bit of toast and honey with no butter and its all good :-)

I keep having the same moan :) I am still slowly plodding on, would say low calorie but I have been eating much higher calorie in the last 2 months so have really slowed down (only lost about 6 lbs in the last 9 weeks). I am now at 39 weeks of trying to lose weight and have lost about 34/35 lbs. Although saying that I have had at least 8 weeks off for holidays/Christmas and work travel and I have also put on 2lbs twice in that time so I could look at it really optimistically and say I have lost 38/39 lbs in 31 weeks Grin Grin

4lbs is fab and if you lost at this rate, that would be 3 stone in 10 months!!

Have you tried measuring yourself ive lost 15 inches a stupendous six from fat belly, but total of 12 lbs. inches lost encourages me when the scales arent showing a loss, i hope the scales catch up.
I gained on exante, atkins and all other fads sticking to 1500 a day and trying to start exercise doing a ten minute kettlebell and 20 min dog walk. I have chronic migraines so piled on the weight through eating crap, medication and being bone idle. How are you all getting on today. What day do you weigh in? Kxxxx
